My HCG level is 75 today. If you don't remember it was 54 on tuesday. That means it did not double. It's only gradually going up. My doctor is concerned it could be ectopic. She said that's the first concern when numbers aren't doubling. I didn't even think i had to worry about that because when i got my u/s last week the other doctor said they would be able to see if it was in the tubes. He must've been wrong? This doctor said it was too early to tell. She's not an actual OBGYN but she can deliver babies. Anyway she wants me to go see an actual OBGYN early next week. She said they'll want to do another u/s because we'll be able to see then.
I don't know much about ectopic pregnancies other than the baby can't survive because it's in your tubes. Why can't they move it to the uterus? Is it just too complicated to do? She said there's a possibility it could be a healthy pregnancy but acted like it was rare.
So while my number did go up it still sounds like it's bad news. Does anyone know any information on ectopic pregnancies or betas not doubling? I don't know much so i'll be researching. I'm so concerned for my little baby. All i feel like i can do at this point is stay hopeful. I'll be praying it's healthy in my uterus. If you all could continue praying for me i'd really appreciate it.

I'm sorry that you keep having to wait for answers. I have no idea what your numbers mean and why they would be going up, but not doubling.
Thinking of you, I can only imagine how hard this must be

T&P!
I am surprised they don't want to see you sooner. If it is ectopic and it keeps growing its gonna rupture the tube and your gonna lose a tube and its gonna cause you a world of pain. I would think about getting a 3rd opinion and getting an u/s TODAY. They will be able to tell if something is in the uterus or not by now. If there's no ectopic the only other thing i can think of that causes issues with beta numbers is a blighted ovum.

I ditto Sam. Either get a second (third?) opinion NOW or rush to the ER at the first sign of pain. If it is ectopic you definitely do not want to lose the tube! I really hope that you get good news!

What a rollercoaster ride. I have to agree with Sam though. I think you should get another opinion along with an earlier U/S.

This must be so upsetting to go through. The not knowing and going back and forth. I don't know anything about betas or ectopics. I'm thinking of you & baby.
