Sorry this has taken me SO long. It's been nearly two months from the wedding and I suck! I'm glad Lauren was there to update you guys in a much more timely manner. haha. Anyway, I give up entirely on uploading these stupid photos to photobucket, but I finally got 'em all on facebook so I'll be able to link from there. I'll try to not post a crap ton and give you a 'walk through' of the day

I got ready at Glendalough Manor, which was our reception venue. I had already gotten my hair done earlier in the morning and I had a MAC make up artist come and do my makeup there. My girls came and got ready in the room as well, and our photographers met us there so we could get some pre-ceremony photos in the gardens.

THE shoes... the photogs instinctively knew to take a ton of photos of these haha. here's a couple

My mom putting my earrings in for me (not sure why I didn't do it myself haha)

Then here's one of my cousin putting my mom's earrings in (seriously... I'm wondering why we didn't put our own in) and I guess my cousin dropped it and it went straight down her dress! I love their big smiles in this pic

On my way in...

garter on-

He was all... "Don't do this."

my mom looked HOT!

DH and I had agreed to swap gifts pre-ceremony... and as you all know I gave him the boudoir pics so I just gave him a card but I'd forgotten to write in it. He'd sent my gift with my cousin like hours early... it was the perfume I wanted and a Stephenie Meyer book.

So here I am in the little room minutes before the ceremony writing in his card.

The boys got ready at the church in the nursery apparently. haha.

har har-

groomsmen boutinere-

I don't remember if I posted about this but the deacon who was marrying us canceled the Tuesday before our (friday) wedding. His FIL died and he had to go out of town. Another Deacon was able to do it... and it was his birthday! It was also his first wedding. haha. but everything went fine. I managed to have a short (20-25 min) ceremony despite everyone insisting there's no way it'll be that short b/c it's a Catholic ceremony blah blah.

Ben shaking hands with my nephew, the ring bearer

My step-dad walking me down the aisle

Ben seeing me

the kiss!

and we're outta here!

Me & Edward--

me & my momz <3

my neice, the flower girl climbed under my dress and would NOT come out

finally she did

we had PERFECT weather

Ben is such a girl

okay now on to the wedding reception itself... I'll try to cover the detail shots first I think--

our favors were plantable paper shaped like butterflies in honor of my late father.

the ballroom-

we did a guest book frame-

I made coloring books for all the kids. The venue decided to add candles to the tables and didn't think to not put open flames on the kid's table so one of them set theirs on fire

we had passed appetizers -- stuffed mushrooms florentine and a vegetarian spring roll... my favorite food of the night for sure. here's a pic of some of the mushrooms. i wish i were eating them right now

salad set up

chicken stuffed with sun-dried tomatoes, spinach, and feta in a cream sauce and then honey dijon pork loin

this bad boy is in the freezer just waiting!

K the bridal party was announced into the reception to "Eye of the Tiger" to really get the party started haha

We went straight into our first dance, which was Elvis Presley's "The Wonder of You"

After our first dance we sat down and everybody ate. Ben and I were served at our sweetheart table first... so we had time to eat and then go mingle with each table while everyone else was still eating. After dinner, Ben and I cut the cake-

While they served the cake we did the toasts by the best man & maid of honor. They both did a great job.

(my dress looks like extra table cloth haha)

After the toasts we did the father/daughter & mother/son dances so we could open up the dance floor!

My step-dad and I danced to "I loved her first" by Heartland and we chatted through the majority of it so I wouldn't cry.

DH and his mother danced to Louis Armstrong - What a Wonderful World
(the whole time, she was apprently telling him how impressed she was by my MOH's toast b/c even though she's only met her like twice she thinks she's a total fruitcake... blah blah, and then got drunk and actually said it TO my MOH. )

Then we just had some good old fashioned sweaty dancing!

(there's Lauren right behind me! )

This is supposed to be us doing The Thriller

shawty got low low low low...

then we did the bouquet toss. It was to Beyonce's Single Ladies my SIL caught it and DH and FIL were *not* happy haha

The garter removal and toss was Marvin Gaye's Let's Get it On...

our best man, Spencer caught it

and it became obvious we had an open bar

DH & I's last dance song was to Iron & Wine's "Flightless Bird, American Mouth" which is also the song Bella & Edward danced to during the prom scene.

We had a sparkler send- off... but the photographers didn't capture it very well. It wasn't organized by the coordinator very well b/c half of them weren't lit or were lit before we got out there... so there weren't a lot to begin with but then the photogs didn't capture the dark so you could hardly tell. Here's one of their shots-

and then here is one that Lauren took and tagged me in on facebook that's better cause it's dark

getting into the limo

and while I'm looking at ones Lauren took & tagged me in... here's one of us during our last dance song -- again that looks better (I think) b/c it was darker in the photo... makes it more romantic feeling.

Anyway... that's all. That took FOREVER. No wonder I've been putting it off. If this doesn't go through I'm never posting again.

OH man I just cant tell you how hard I cried during that last dance!!

And of course the ones with Edward are my faves of the day I think, next to the ones of you and Ben looking all glowingly happy and then the ones of all of us dancing. I had a great great time and it was awesome!! I was so glad to meet some of your childhood friends too

Tell Katie its a little too early to get married. Those are the few pics I was in WITHOUT a camera! That dress makes me look huge though, not wearing that again!

Ok comments coming on certain pictures
