There is this recipe, Scalini's eggplant parmesean, that reportedly sends women into labor. Lauren (lala) had posted it for me, and some ladies in my DDC used it to success. Supposedly, I should give birth within 48 hours after eating this if I am lucky.
Now, I do not cook, so this should tell you how desperate I am! I am going to the store to make it this afternoon. Wish me luck, here is the link with more info about it
GMA Recipe: Eggplant Parmigiana Alla Scalini's

I hope it works for you!
Hey I think there is a track you can order from Hypnobabies that is like "baby come out!" or something like that to help you if you go "past due". It might be worth ordering or ask on the yahoo group, I bet it's helped other women.

One of the girls in my DDC had this "maternity salad" thingy and went into labor 2 days later at 37 1/2 weeks.
You might wanna google it. Its a salad dressing. Seemed to have worked for her! She lost her mucus plug the next day, and her water broke shortly soon thereafter!

I think I would get the heck out if you tried to feed me eggplant!
I *accidently* ate eggplant for the first time just last week and I about gagged. Then again it was out of a frozen assortment of italian H-E-B brand veggies that I will NEVER get again! Even the squash was gross and I love squash.
