Angela, you had Landon at a German hospital, didn't you? I just went to my OB appt this week and she told me that I need to take a midwife in another 2 months or so. She said that the midwife gives group classes, including weekly exercise classes for pregnant moms. I couldn't ascertain if the midwife actually attended the birth, as well, or if you got a midwife allocated at the hospital.

Did you have to have one? I like the idea, but my German is SO crappy I don't think I would understand a single thing that goes on. But I'm not sure if it's required to have one for the birth. Ugh, it would be so much easier if I could just speak german fluently!

Yes I had him in Schwinefurt Germany and yes I had to have one too but I took classes and stuff though the military instead. But while I was at the hospital I did have both. The hospital I had him at most of the staff especially the younger nurses spoke decent English.

Ohhhhh Make sure to bring water lol!!!! All they ever have is that nasty bubble kind!! If you have any other questions just let me know!!!
