Did it comes natural or did you have some issues to work out to get the hang of it with baby? It took us about a week and a half to get an awesome latch.

Is it what you thought it would be? No because I honestly thought I'd hate it and it's awesome. I said I'd be lucky if I made it past 2 weeks and it's been almost 3 months now

On average, how many times in a 24 hr period does baby BF? On demand so I don't normally pay attention but every 2-3 hours during the day and she goes 8 hours without eating at night.

Does your baby take a bottle of BM or refuse bottles? I've never tried it

Do you pump? How many bottles of pumped BM does baby take per day? I pumped a few times in the beginning to help with engorement and haven't done it since. I have about 15oz in the freezer.

Do you supplement with formula? No

Does your baby take a pacifer or have you ever offered one? She hates them

How long have you been BF? Almost 3 months

How long do you plan to BF? 6-9 months

Have you ever wanted to give up on BF? No, it makes my life WAY easier then when I FF with Taylor.

Is it what you thought it would be? It's better than I thought it would be.

On average, how many times in a 24 hr period does baby BF? Since I work during the weekdays on average he BF's about 5-6 times. Most of this is during the night time.

Does your baby take a bottle of BM or refuse bottles? He takes about 2-3 bottles while I'm at work of BM. He had no problems going back and forth between my boob and the bottle.

Do you pump? How many bottles of pumped BM does baby take per day? Yes. Mon-Fri I pump about 3 times per day. He takes 2-3 bottles while I work.

Do you supplement with formula? Never have.

Does your baby take a pacifer or have you ever offered one? Yes. When it's nap time or or during the night he takes it after he is done BF. He usually spits it out after he is fast asleep.

How long have you been BF? 9 months this Sunday!

How long do you plan to BF? I'm going with the flow and waiting for him to self wean.

Have you ever wanted to give up on BF? No. I'm going to be heartbroken when he weans because it's been such an amazing special time for us.

Did it come natural or did you have some issues to work out to get the hang of it with baby? issues with both kids. both are semi 'tongue' tied at birth and have latch issues. Kierans was severe enough that she went from 6lbs 13oz down to 5lbs 8oz

Is it what you thought it would be? I thouhgt it would be loads eaiser

On average, how many times in a 24 hr period does baby BF? Kieran varies from every 1-3hrs during the day and anywhere from 3-5hrs at night

Does your baby take a bottle of BM or refuse bottles? She hasn't had one in around 4weeks but yes shes taken one

Do you pump? How many bottles of pumped BM does baby take per day? I've pumped but it was only for when we had to supplement with my pumped milk for her weight issues. Now I'll only pump when I feel a clogged duct coming on

Do you supplement with formula? no we tried twice to when he weight was so low an the ped told me I had to, she refused it and I refused to give her any more

Does your baby take a pacifer or have you ever offered one? yes she'll take one sometimes, it helped both kids with their 'tongue' issues

How long have you been BF? Seamus bf till he was 12.5mo and self weened, Kieran has been bf for 10weeks 1day now

Do you enjoy breastfeeding? I guess I do. I don't NOT enjoy it. For me, it's a requirement so I do it willingly.

Do you find it hard at times? If so why? No.

Did it come natural or did you have some issues to work out to get the hang of it with baby? It came naturally but I give credit to my attending a La Leche class prior to having her and learning the correct techniques on how to breastfeed. I still had the initial soreness but apart from that, everythig went great. Amara was a champ at latching on.

Is it what you thought it would be? Except for the initial soreness, yes.

On average, how many times in a 24 hr period does baby BF? About 3 - 4 times.

Does your baby take a bottle of BM or refuse bottles? She takes the bottle with BM.

Do you pump? How many bottles of pumped BM does baby take per day? Yes. Amara takes 1-6oz and 2 5oz bottles a day, every 3 - 4 hours.

Do you supplement with formula? No.

Does your baby take a pacifer or have you ever offered one? I've offered but she spits it out. If I hold it in, she'll chew on it.

How long have you been BF? Almost 5 months.

How long do you plan to BF? I would love to give her breastmilk (breast or pumped) for 9 - 12 months.

Have you ever wanted to give up on BF? No.

Did it come natural or did you have some issues to work out to get the hang of it with baby? We had some issues at first...she had trouble latching and my milk was a little slow coming in, but the LC totally helped!

Does your baby take a bottle of BM or refuse bottles? She'll take one, but she only gets them if we go out on a date, which is kinda rare, or if she needs one while in the church nursery

Does your baby take a pacifer or have you ever offered one? Yes, she takes one at nap and bedtime

Do you enjoy breastfeeding? Yes I really do. Especially with two kids. I really love the bonding time I get with just Dustin when we are nursing.

Do you find it hard at times? If so why? I don't find it hard. I'm even super comfy doing it in public! Which is great and I'm proud of haha.

Did it come natural or did you have some issues to work out to get the hang of it with baby? With Dustin it came very natural for both of us. Curtis we had alot of issues in the beginning.

Is it what you thought it would be? Absolutely

On average, how many times in a 24 hr period does baby BF? Oh hmm... every 3 or so hours I think? With some longer and shorter stretches in there.

Does your baby take a bottle of BM or refuse bottles? He takes a bottle just fine. He gets two or so bottles every other Tuesday when Grandma baby sits while we go to our personal trainer and do date night!

Do you pump? How many bottles of pumped BM does baby take per day? I don't any more. I should have enough BM to last until he's 6 months. Then I'll be doing formula when I'm away from him.

Do you supplement with formula? Not right now

Does your baby take a pacifer or have you ever offered one? I've offered but he never took to it. We only did it while in the car but he never did take to it.

How long have you been BF? Since he was born. Over 5 months.

How long do you plan to BF? EBM until 6 months and then I guess we'll see what happens after that.

Have you ever wanted to give up on BF? Yup. The days when I want my body to be mine... but I'm a mom, my mind, body and sole belong to these boys, might as well offer my boobs up too!! haha.

When he was younger, 10-12 times usually.

Does your baby take a bottle of BM or refuse bottles? He has always taken bottles just fine, but only the Playtex Drop Ins. He doesn't like other kinds.

Do you pump? How many bottles of pumped BM does baby take per day? I quite pumping around 7 months. He used to take 3 BM bottles/day at daycare.

Do you supplement with formula? Yes. We use Nestle Good Start and Similac Advantage.

Does your baby take a pacifer or have you ever offered one? He used to take it occassionally for naps, but he definitely is not a paci-baby.

How long have you been BF? 9 1/2 months

How long do you plan to BF? I wish we could go until 18 months, but I don't think we have much longer...I'm barely making any milk and I know that when he nurses he doesn't get enough get full

We're taking it one day at a time, and hopefully we can keep nursing a couple times a day until he is 12 months old.

Did it come natural or did you have some issues to work out to get the hang of it with baby? With my son, yes until the lactation nurse came in and like ruined my shot at BFing him

But with my daughter, she latched on and off we went!

Is it what you thought it would be? Yes - its an amazing feeling to not have to make a bottle

Is it what you thought it would be? It's so much more!!! It's not breastfeeding to me, it's love!

On average, how many times in a 24 hr period does baby BF? Now, Preston nurses about 5 times a day for meals, sometimes more if he's clingy, he'll comfort nurse.

Does your baby take a bottle of BM or refuse bottles? He has always flat out refused bottles, the only time he took a bottle was when he was in the NICU and when we were having issues with latching.

Do you pump? How many bottles of pumped BM does baby take per day? I don't pump anymore, because for me, there is no need. I used to though.

Do you supplement with formula? No, the nurses in the NICU tried to give him formula when they ran out of the milk that I pumped, and he would refuse it!

Does your baby take a pacifer or have you ever offered one? Ummm....pacifers are mainly toys for him. He'll chew on it and play with it, but he doesn't suck on it and isn't dependant on it at all. Neither of my boys were paci babies. I'm thankful for that!

How long have you been BF? Almost 13 months!!!

How long do you plan to BF? Until 2 years of age, maybe 3 years. Or until he self weans.

Have you ever wanted to give up on BF? No, I feel guilty that I didn't nurse Edward. But there were other circumstances with him.

Do you find it hard at times? Sometimes he will take a while to eat and he still messes up his latch on the left side on occasion, not to mention that I have 2 kids to take care of

Did it come natural or did you have some issues to work out to get the hang of it with baby? It was difficult with both of my kids. In Joshua's case it's b'c he had jaundice and I couldn't latch him till he was 3 or 4 weeks old, but I was pumping since day 1.

Is it what you thought it would be? It's easier now

How long have you been BF? Well, I don't know if I should count the beginning since he wasn't even latching...so if you count pumping as well, then I'd say 3 months. If not, it's really only been about 2 months.

How long do you plan to BF? I want him to have BM till he is a year old, whether he is nursing or taking EBM.
Have you ever wanted to give up on BF? It was very hard in the beginning when I was pumping 6x or more a day and he was eating every 2 hours. I was frustrated, but I really wanted him to have BM. So I guess that's probably a no.

Does your baby take a bottle of BM or refuse bottles? He's been using a cup since he was about 6 months old but he never really took a bottle. He hated bottles and would only take one if he absolutely had to, but it was a fight. He's had maybe 3 or 4 bottles of BM. Liam was very different, he would take anything from anyone.

Do you pump? How many bottles of pumped BM does baby take per day? I stopped pumping a while ago, not since he was about a year.

Do you supplement with formula? Lochlann has never had formula. Liam was supplemented and I know I've shared how horrible it was for both of us.

Does your baby take a pacifer or have you ever offered one? Neither of the boys have ever taken a pacifier. I never really offered either though.

How long have you been BF? It'll be 22 months on Sunday!!!

How long do you plan to BF? No set plan, we'll be done when he's ready.

Have you ever wanted to give up on BF? I've had my moments. I've been pregnant and nursing for over 4 years straight so sometimes I wish I just had my body back. And it's tiring and sometimes frustrating nursing for this long. Ultimately though, I wouldn't trade this experience for the world!

Did it come natural or did you have some issues to work out to get the hang of it with baby? It came pretty naturally - we dealt with some major oversupply and overactive letdown in the beginning, but overcame our struggles.

Is it what you thought it would be? Yep, it's pretty much how I imagined it would be!

On average, how many times in a 24 hr period does baby BF? 4-5 times now, he was still doing at least 6 per 24 hours until the last probably month or so.

Does your baby take a bottle of BM or refuse bottles? He takes bottles of breastmilk at daycare. (well, a sippy cup sometimes now, too)

Do you pump? How many bottles of pumped BM does baby take per day? I do pump. On my long days (10 hours) Ben USUALLY takes 3 bottles.

Do you supplement with formula? I haven't.

Does your baby take a pacifer or have you ever offered one? He does take a paci. He LOVES his paci, and gets it only at bedtime or if he's really, really inconsolably tired (rare) and sometimes in the car.

How long have you been BF? 11 months, 3 days!

How long do you plan to BF? I plan to quit pumping once he is 1, and nurse him until...whenever. Whenever he's ready to quit.

Have you ever wanted to give up on BF? Yep, there were a few times, but I knew I would have major regret if I did. And those few times were in the first 6 weeks, since then, no problems at all!!

Is it what you thought it would be? It is better as far as bonding and closeness but I didn't realize how much of my time would be spent with him attached to my boob.

On average, how many times in a 24 hr period does baby BF? Right now it's anywhere from every 1-3 hours during the day and every 2-6 at night. I just never know when or for how long he'll want to eat.
