This is most likely going to sound corny.. Has anyone ever wondered how long we will all be on JM keeping in touch? I have been on here for 4 years this fall and have "known" some of you since then. I would be sad if I lost touch with you girls. But at the same time I can't see all of us on JM in lets say.. 20 years from now. Maybe Just Grandmas or something.

I've wondered this, but I know I'll probably be here a long time. I can't live without JM. I get homesick without JM. When I'm not home for a whole day, I just can't wait to get back to my computer! I have no friends IRL and I consider you ladies my friends. I'm closer to some of you than I was to any of my RL friends. You ladies are like family to me!
ETA: I was on 4 message boards before and during my time here at JM. And while there are ladies on the other message boards that I consider friends, I still always come back to JM. I have about 1000 posts on the other boards, and I'm half way to 4000 posts here. So obviously, this is my cyber home!

I often daydream about having a giant meet-up. I know logistically it would be close to impossible, especially with some of our overseas girls and how expensive travel is in general. I feel very close and supported by the people on this board and I never thought I would feel that way about "Internet friends." JM WTTC Grads is much more than that. I have been here for 2 1/2 years and I'm not planning to leave anytime soon. Heck, I didn't even join a DDC!

I've been on JM since I found out I was pregnant with Liam so over 4 years now. I've come and gone but mostly stayed; we had some issues with the Jan '06 PR (Liam's PR) but I still keep in touch with one awesome lady from there. I never did join a DDC with Loch and I don't know if I will next time either. It's just to weird to venture outside of WTTC/WTTC Grads. I don't have any IRL friends, everyone has moved and lost touch so I don't have anyone to really talk to about any of this stuff. If it wasn't for you ladies I think I'd go crazy! LOL

Same here! I never would have thought the relationships would be like they are. Im actually really close with alot of girls from JM which I never thought would have happened. Its totally different from any other board I have ever seen or been a part of, most of the time the women are sooooo catty you seriously should take a look at theknot.com (i tried to become active at theknot.com to talk to girls about wedding planning but it is just not possible, if you asked a question that has EVER been asked even if it was a year ago they would jump on your a ss and tell you to "find the search button and use it" ) or thenest.com forums sometime they are soooo rude to eachother! The girls here honestly care about eachothers well being. I love it!

I often wonder this too.. I have made some great friendships here!! I have no desire on leaving anytime soon I've been around for 2 years now and I relate to you guys so much more than some of my IRL friends..
I do dream of a huge JM meetup one day!!!

I'm coming up on 4 years myself. I know I'm not going anywhere anytime soon. Although i'm sad that my JM time is cut back so much with school and working, but I'll never leave altogether, lol.

I often think about how wonderful it would be to have a meet up with all the WTTC Grads. If it ever happened I would do everything possible to find the money to attend! I don't have any friends either that I relate to or live near me (it's sad that so many of us have said that). I never thought I would feel so close and connected to online friends.

I think we all need eachother and can't leave, at least not any time soon! We especially will need eachother when our kids get older and into more trouble, lol.

Yeah, I can't imagine ever just not posting here. I can imagine not posting on JM.. like my DDC, etc. but not in Grads. I don't care for/about my DDC and I think it's b/c we have such an awesome and interesting dynamic here with everyone in different phases of life but on similar paths and goals. I would love to do a big meet up. We should get one of those online maps where everyone signs in where they are... and whereever the major cluster or clusters of people are is where we meet... and set it for like, 6 months or something out so we have time!

I have been a member of another military girls site for over 5 yrs. And I've met so many of themover the years. Some people I know think its weird to meet others from online but its been so much fun! I meet 2 of my bridesmaids that way!
Seems like everyone is a ways from me. Except Lisa, I think? Unless Lauren is coming back to Maryland.
