He has had a HIGH fever off and on for the past 3 days now like up to 102.7. I took him to the doctor yesterday and they said besides a little bit of water in his ears he is fine and the fever is from teething or a minor cold. His fever has been down since 8 this morning but I just gave him a dose of Tylenol because it got to 99.9 and now he has puked twice and has diarrhea. I know for sure he is teething because he is a drool monster and is biting the everything including my nipples. But this just seems like alot for teething.... If his fever gos up again I think I will take him to the ER.

Awwww... poor little guy. I didn't know teething could cause that kind of reaction? Teething can cause fever? That just doesn't make sense to me, but then again I know nothing about it. I hope he gets better soon!

it sucks some little ones get so sick from teething. I hope its just that and not anything else. (one of the moms in my DDC SWEARS by those amber teething necklace things--may be something you want to look into).

Aw I'm sorry! Having a fever sucks it's such a yucky feeling... I'm sure he's one miserable little guy right now and I just hate that. I'm sure it's hard having to watch him be so uncomfortable. Hang in there you two! Feel better little Landen!

poor baby My son was a horrid teether too, his fever lasted for about a week-10 days! but it was a low grade, never got over 100. Have you tried making a slushie out of some juice and letting him suck on the ice? Both of my kids LOVE ice and especially fruit flavored, always made their tummy's feel better. Hang in there and keep us posted
