Here's is my two cents. Why don't we pick a destination that is touristy, or a vacation spot, so we can all bring our families and kiddos? That way it can be a two in one, a family vacation plus a JM meetup. Maybe like next spring or summer, so we can all have plenty of time to plan and save. Myrtle Beach may be a viable option. I can't wait to see our map and start the planning!

I say we all visit Mari in Barbados. Anyhow, I don't mind driving and making a trip, as long as it's not tooo far.

I like the idea of multipul cities, like I said in the other thread theres no way I'd be able to go unless its here in the Pacific Northwest (Oregon, Washington, Idaho).

I think a vacation spot would be great - maybe Disney World or something....we could wear goofy matching shirts like family reunion people do!

I wouldn't mind Canada, (BC) but the passport thing is an issue now, It would be around $300 for my family just for passports

Im in for something touristy... Chicago- Myrtle- Disney... or Vegas!! Sounds fun... this year??? End of summer or early fall???
And Justine... u could do the passport cards for about $25 a person!!! Passport books are about $100 a piece. I just ordered a pp card for Alexa which is good for Canada, Mexico and the Caribbean!! Everywhere else needs pp book.

LINK to pp card info.
The wallet-size passport card is convenient and less expensive than the passport book. However, the U.S. Passport Card cannot be used for international air travel. This new travel document can be used to enter the United States from Canada, Mexico, the Caribbean, and Bermuda at land border crossings or sea ports-of-entry.

For land here you just need a birth certificate for anyone under the age of 12 I believe. On June 1st it changed that you need a passport to do any traveling over the age of 12, you used to be able to do it with just a passport and photo id.
