So Ive been having some bleeding but I doubt its a new cycle, fertility friend seems to think that it is...is there a way to trick it without starting a new cycle - or should I just move on with the cycle?

you'd have to put it in as spotting and if you want make a note that it was heavy... but if you put it in as any kind of red flow it's considered CD1. You said you had clots, etc. so I would agree with FF that it's CD1. If you want to override it though - change it to spotting.
