I'm not a huge Tim Burton fan (I can take him or leave him) but I saw these pics on Perez and it just looks BEAUTIFUL!! Creepy and weird and beautiful!

I'm posting because Michael Sheen (the guy playing Aro in New Moon) is the White Rabbit- so I got interested in this movie and when these pics hit Perez today I had to post them!

Alan Rickman (Severus Snape) plays the Caterpillar
Johnny Depp is the Mad Hatter
Michael Sheen is the White Rabit
Anne Hathaway is the White Queen
Helena Bonham Carter is the Red Queen

NO crap, I'm sofa king excited dude

I had no idea Michael Sheen was in it till I googled more about it. I really never wanted to see Tim Burton, but this movie may show me the genius I always hear about him that I never really "got"

I admit that I am not a Tim Burton fan at all but I am a HUGE Alice in Wonderland fan. Lauren have you ever read the series The Looking Glass Wars? Its a young adult series about Wonderland. I enjoyed it, it was different. I have the second book Seeing Red on my list of to read. I am always looking for other adaptations of Alice. When I was in college there was a video game called American McGee's Alice in Wonderland...kind of twisted and freaky but interesting.

^ oOH NO!! That sounds very cool!

AIW was my very favorite childhood movie, and I apparently "wore out" the tape, meaning my mom threw it away when I was little because she was sick of it and said it just stopped working. Guess we can use that on our kids now that we are on dvd

I'll have to read those!

If you like Alice its a must read if you ask me. The author is Frank Beddor. Let me know what you think. The video game is probably very similar to this move...dark and twisted but Alice tends to lend toward that idea I feel. I was scared of the movie as a kid but read the books in high school and found a new found love for the entire thing and have become obsessed ever since.

Oh! If you didnt mind I would love to hear your thoughts. One of my favorite things about reading is hearing how others interpret and see the same book. Its the reason I get my best friend to read all the books I love If you dont want to post it feel free to PM me. I cant wait !

I love Tim Burton. I've been waiting a couple years for this, I herd about him possibly doing it back when Corpse Bride came out, then for sure he was doing it after Sweeny Todd.
