A Day in Kyle's Life lots of pics

6:30 a.m. I wake up. The first thing I do is go to my linen closet for a towel:

Then I jump in the shower with my rubber duckies:

Lazily made bed:

Lazy dog:

Choosing what to wear:

The breakfast of champions:

Taking Lucky for a quick walk:

7:40 a.m. I start up my '08 Saturn Astra for the 50 minute commute:

8:30 a.m. I arrive to the campus of my school:

My office:

My sophisticated filing system. This paperwork is already done, NOT waiting to be done!:

I keep slippers under my desk for days when my feet get cold, wet or just uncomfortable:

At 11:30 I led a group therapy session in this classroom:

Looks like Kati is not the only one hitting up Mickey D's:

Then I hang out with (read: supervise) students while eating my lunch in this classroom:

The rest of my day is filled with a supervision meeting, therapy sessions and a staff meeting after school... none of which I can post pictures of online...

At 4:30 p.m. I leave my "day job" and drive 45 minutes to my part-time private practice, sharing the road with this motorcycle gang:

My private practice office (which I rent from another therapist by the hour):

At 7:30 p.m. I come home to Eric making dinner:

Teriyaki chicken and carrots:

We crash on the couch for a little TV:

Finally, I retire to my JM Command Center to upload all of these pictures:

My dog Lucky is my little spoiled baby... She is going to be 7 years old this summer. I got her from a Humane Society when I was in graduate school. I don't talk about her much online because she doesn't really cause me any problems LOL.

So glad I am not the only one with the guilty McD's pleasure. *laughs* And can I say that I am jealous of your closet. DH and I share a closet that is 3' wide and 18" deep.

That is one long work day. I didn't know you still had both jobs. For some reason I thought you gave up one of them. I enjoyed your pictures!

Yeah right! A bunch of teenage boys coming to summer school... they'd be breaking into my office just to take a nap! We have enough trouble keeping them awake when they are sitting upright.

I stopped taking new clients a while ago in my private practice. It was getting to a point where I was working 7 days a week between clients, phone calls and paperwork. It was too much and the money I was bringing in wasn't worth the stress. Now I only see a few long-term clients per week that have stuck with me this whole time. Ironically, after the baby comes I may end up ditching the full time job and doing private practice a couple of days a week instead... then I'd have to build a caseload back up there.
