I need some reassurance. Last night at work I had some very light, brown spotting that seems to have gone away. Not even enough to really dirty a panty liner. Just a few blips. During this time I had absolutely no cramping. This sounds ok right? I know these things happen, but it still sent me to the break room in tears, and the charge nurse had to come find out why I was not taking report from ED. Sent another quant off this morning. I think I will call to see if they can expedite getting the results for me. Anyone else have spotting during their pregnancy and have it NOT end badly?

I know it's scary..

I spotted in the beginning of my pregnancy.. It was just like you described it.. Then I spotted bright red at 20 weeks and that scared the crud out of me.. I think it was due to me having a low lying placenta.. I also think I may have over done it at work.. **I too work in a hospital** But my pregnancy is going fine and my little wiggle worm is vary active.

I haven't had any kind of spotting so I can't help there but I've read it a billion times from other women that brown spotting is old blood, completely okay/normal.

I didn't have spotting with Gemma but my doctor told me to expect brown spotting so it must be pretty common and generally okay! HUGS!!!!

I've had a lot of spotting with this pregnancy. I've had brown the most. The last of it was when I was 12 weeks. At 7 weeks I had bright red spotting with clots, and everything was, and still is fine. My spotting was all coming from my cervix, it was really irritable in the beginning of my pregnancy. I was told that it's completely normal, especially if it's brown.

30% of healthy normal pregnancies get some spotting. Brown is best and no cramping rocks.

i spotted brown and light pink for 3 weeks after my BFP. it's completely normal as long as it's not bright red and coupled with cramps stronger than AF cramps.

It's just old blood from where your fertilised eggie implanted into your uterus Beanie is snuggling in for a 9 month cuddle with mummy

I didn't bleed with Liam until I was almost 20 weeks but that was due to overdoing it at work I think.

I spotted off and on from the day before my BFP (13 DPO) til about 8 weeks with Loch. It was brown, pink, and sometimes red and obviously all was well. I did get cramps too but I think they were just your normal pregnancy related cramps, not bad ones.

I'm glad everything is going so well Alice! I'm so excited for you!!!

Spotting, that is the brown kind, is said to be pretty normal and could be a sign o pregnancy. A lot of ladies here spotted. It's really hard not to worry though so I hoe that you get your official results soon.
