Holy ***** poo... I'm getting married in a month! Where did all of my planning time go??!! I had a lot more time before this! I'm nearing panic point... I guess you could almost call it bridezilla syndrome?

I really started thinking about it and I got nervous. Not nervous about getting married, but nervous about the wedding. We still have a lot of plans to finalize! I'm not nervous about everything going well. If it is a complete disaster I will survive. I'm preparing for the worst because getting my mom, my step mom, and my FMIL in the same room is just asking for spontaneous combustion. I'm nervous because I'm not exactly used to being the center of attention and, as DF says, I could trip over a cordless phone. I mean come on, I'm a computer programmer... I spend all of my time alone in my office, just me and my computer (sounds rivetting doesn't it?). Did I mention I thought about giving out little popcorn baggies as favors because people might need them for the show between my clumsiness and the interesting family situation?

Okay... rant over... must... calm... down...

I always wondered why people got nervous before their wedding, I never understood it. I never thought I would get nervous. Hah!

Why didn't anyone warn me about this???

You'll be fine! It's been four years for me, and I don't remember being nervous so I'm no help! I'm sure it'll be a beautiful day no matter what happens!

Yeah I'm so glad mine is over and done with and w as a success! haha. For me, when I had two weeks til the wedding I was a mess. I was worried over all these little details, I had zero help, and my mom was like "you are going to RUIN your wedding day because you are worrying about EVERYTHING" and I'm all crying and trying to explain that I'm getting it out of the way now... let me freak out about my hair, the weather, the programs, the dance, etc. NOW rather than the day of my wedding. I had off work the week before the wedding and the bridal party and family started flying into down a nd I got to just hang out and have fun and at that point I was just like screw it... so long as Ben and I are married at the end of the day -- it worked. You'll get to that place too. And it's worth worrying now... because my 4 of my vendors and pretty much everyone around me told me I was the calmest bride they'd ever seen. I didn't freak out a single time all day and there were a few times I had major cause to FLIP. I was calming everyone else down. You'll be fine... you just have to get through the craziness right now.

If we had a wedding and didn't elope we would have been nervous for the same reasons. I can't believe how close your wedding is!

It will go smoothly hon- just think of it this way... you will look back on this day and completely forget all of the stress. You will only remember looking into your DH's eyes and saying "I Do". All of this stress will be completely gone soon. Meditate on the look on your future DH's face when you walk down the aisle to him! That will make your heart melt, and it will totally calm you down.

Anyone ever thought clumsy should have a "b" in it? Like a silent B? I think so. Clumbsy... that fits.

DF said he wants a meatloaf for his groom's cake! He doesn't eat sweets. I'm seriously considering it, but I don't think everyone else would find it nearly as funny as I do.

And I am VERY glad to know that I'm not the only one that has gotten tired of the wedding planning! Everyone makes it out like it's fun. Yeah, it's fun at first, until you have to count sheep to fall asleep because you're totally wiggin out... until you realize it isn't working because sheep are white and you might as well stick a veil on them. Black sheep get a bad rep.
