Chris and I talked last night and we came up with a plan. We are going to take the rest of this summer off from actively TTC. So until September we are NTNP. If we arent preggo by then, we will go back to the RE. Then we will TTC w/MA again until January. If Chris has proposed by January (he agreed to this so I'm thinking its going to happen) then we will take a break until after we get married, which will be prob November 2010.

I had another tough day yesterday.. I guess its to be expected.

Taking a break sucks but you have to do what's right for you. I really hope that you get pregnant when you least expect it (AKA soon!)!!!!

Im SO glad we decided to take a break until our wedding. It has been sooooo much less stressful and im actually loving it. Were trying again in September too, so we can be ttc buddies! Enjoy your time with soooo much less stress, ive said this before but sex is SEX again and its not an act to produce a baby. (as it turned into with us when we were ttc) and you can enjoy it again, and enjoy eachother for a little while.

Kaleigh, it helps so much to have little goals to get you through the rough times - a time when you can look forward to "what happens next" in a time of so much uncertainty.

If you need anyone to talk to, please feel free to PM me. All those feelings that you are going through? I felt those exact same ones. You are NOT alone through this - and it sounds like Chris is amazingly supportive.

Thanks ladies! We have a weekend vaca coming up in 3 weeks and then at the beginning of August I have a bachelorette party and then the end of August the wedding, so we have a busy summer. Our main reason for taking the break is just getting back to us and enjoying each other. Its going to be a very memorable summer!

I think your summer will fly by and be so much fun. I hope you can get your mind off TTC for a solid couple of months, no testing, no charting. Just you and Chris enjoying your time together. I, too, am very excited to see how he'll propose!

I've put away the BBT and TCOYF.. I'm thinking about having Chris hide all my OPKs and tests.. this summer is all about us and I'm so excited! With us working opposite shifts its darn near impossible to actually have quality time together..
Wednesday is our 3 year anniversary so that is going to officially kick off our summer.

I know this is a hard time, but I'm so happy that you guys have agreed on a plan. I know you will have a wonderful summer, and I pray that you get knocked up before you seek MA.

Tons of engamenent ring too! hehe.
