Now all the sites are "taking it back"-- the death has not been confirmed, but the heart attack and not breathing is. Oh, and I learned Kendra Wilkinson and Hank Baskett are having a baby.

It was just confirmed on ABC news (local news in Colorado) that he's not dead, but he's seriously ill. He'll probably pass before midnight.

They were both icons of the '70s but only Jackson was an icon of the '80s.

Im pretty sure he's dead...THATS JUST CRAZY!!!!! 2 people on the same day. I also saw this but Ive heard IT'S NOT TRUE......

Angela, I don't know what you were getting at, but I'm assuming that you don't care or that you don't like him?
I think he's a giant weirdo, but man, he made amazing music. That's why I'm sad I guess. He was an icon.

I doubt that she doesn't care, Angela isn't like that. I'm not especially crazy about him. I grew up on his music so that will be missed, but he hasn't made anything new in the last 5 years. It's always sad when someone passes away but for some people it doesn't make a big impact on their lives. That's all!

Oh no, that's not what I meant. I know Angela is compassionate and empathetic, it's totally okay if someone just isn't SAD by a complete stranger dying. That's really not what I meant at all by the "not care" comment.

I care in the fact that I'm sure his family and friends are very saddened but no great personal loss to me... Its sad for them and his fans though

I just saw this on TV while I was eating my pint of Ben & Jerry's ice-cream. It totally surprised me. It struck me as strange that he died for some reason. I guess cause he was only 50 years old.
