For those of you mamas with more than 1 child or are TTC...
How far apart in age are your children? Or how long did you WTTC before you felt ready for #2?

I hear you, right after Conner was born I was like no way no how, do not miss being pregnant one little bit. Now I do But with Nic deploying and what not..no way could I handle two little ones that close in age. So we're still set on Conners third birthday as our starting TTC our 2nd date.

My girls are exactly two years apart and I think it's a wonderful age difference. Our original plan was to start TTC on Lily's second birthday so the kids would have been around 3 years apart but my ovary situation changed that. Lee and I keep going back and forth on whether or not to have a third but I'd for sure like to wait until Violet's 2nd birthday before we get serious about deciding.

My kids are 14 months apart - even though we didnt "plan" on them that close, its made it easier. Both kids are pretty much developing at the same rate, Ian's more advanced, and Morgan picks up on it, and with her being a girl, she is more advanced for her age as well.
Weve been waiting for #3 for some time now, as you can tell, Ive kept putting it off numerous times, but Im finally feeling ready, and if my body would cooperate *ie bleeding every other minute* than we will TTC#3...if I get pregnant this year, there will be a 3 1/2 year age gap between them. Not sure what to think because I basically had 2 babies at one time. With Ian starting preschool, *I think Morgan can go too...* Then Ill have more time to enjoy this pregnancy vs last time with Morgan I was so exhausted from being pregnant and having an infant.
Ok theres my novel LOL

We started TTC when DD was 5 months old and got pregnant the first month (it took 6 months with her, so that was a shock). We were shooting for about an 18 month age gap and we're getting a less than 14 month age gap. I'm excited though.

IF we have another I would like to have them at least 3 years apart. I really want to give Oliver all of my attention for awhile. I also don't want them too far apart because I would like them to be able to play together.

I think 3-4 years is too big of an age gap, but were working on that

I think 2 years apart would be perfect. Not sure when we will start TTC though because it took a little over a year to get Matthew. And the thought of having to do meds again (have to get someone to watch baby for follicle scans?) is kind of intimidating.
So I'm thinking maybe once Matthew is a year old? Maybe a little sooner but then you never know, it could happen right away and that might be tough, I dunno.

Liam and Lochlann are 19 months apart. He was a big surprise since I hadn't even gotten my first pp af yet but I'm so glad it happened when it did. Honestly if we could've TTC sooner we may have. I love their age difference though and would've loved the same age difference between Lochlann and the next baby but it hasn't worked out that way. If we conceived this month there will be 2 1/2 years between Loch and the new baby--not my ideal but what can you do?

Curtis and Dustin are almost exactly 2 years apart. I LOVE this age gap. They are learning so much from each other and growing up so close!
We started trying when Curtis was 1 year. It took us a little while to get a healthy pregnancy. We started in Jan and was successful in May.
We hope to try again when Dustin is a year, but we aren't really religiously avoiding right now. We want there to be a close age distance between our third and Curtis.

My girls are 17 months apart and it's AMAZING. Taylor is Rylie's favorite person and it's so awesome to see them together. I knew about 1 month after I had Taylor that I wanted to be pregnant again and shoot for an 18 month age difference. It is challenging at times but I wouldn't trade it for anything. When we start TTC#3 Rylie will be 2.5 due to finances but if I could have all my kids close I would. Who knows, maybe next summer will be doable for Andy and I

I think I would like Reid and his future sibling to be 2-3 years apart. So, we may TTC mid-late next year. The idea totally freaks me out though

Nora is our last baby - financially and emotionally we feel that 2 (plus my step soon) is all that we can handle to really give our kids all that they deserve from us. We started trying when Harrison was 2.....since I knew it would take a while and I wanted them at least 2 years apart so that guaranteed it. I am glad that they ended up 3 years apart because Harrison is a big help now - he can talk to me like a grown up and he is completely potty trained so that helped alot both when I was pregnant and now - he just does alot by himself and doesn't need my help so I don't have to choose between him and Nora. The potty trained thing was huge for us and we didn't even start trying until Harrison was well on his way to be potty trained!

That's what I originally thought. But alot of things have been happening lately with my family that make me feel like is short and I don't want to wait just for that reason alone.
