Sorry to be posting so many questions but I'm trying to get all the stuff most women do in 9months done in 2 weeks! LOL
Ok so next batch of questions----
Toys--I have a Plan Toy Rattle and a fun little elephant that shakes when you pull the string. Thats it right now---I only want a couple smaller toys while traveling since once baby is older we can make things....but with the little ones---
Did they play much with stuff? What 0-3 month toys did your little one (or babies you know) really like?
I'm so clueless with infants! LOL I'm much more confident with pregnancy and labor stuff HAHAHA. I'm going to be so lost once this kid is 4 weeks old!

I call dustin my sucky boy cause he lovesssss sucking on things. He likes soft teddies to chew/suck on. I think that with a couple rattles should do just fine. You can use lots of things as toys.

Landen loved this star that lit up and played music, it came with his play mat thing. And he loved it until he was about 5 months.

Neither of my boys were interested in toys until they were about 4 months old and able to be in the exersaucer. We usually just used stuff that was laying around because the toys we did get they didn't care about. I think the favorite was dangling keys.

Conner just started playing with toys when he was like 3 and a half months...he doesn't really like picking this up and playing with them but he loves his playmat with the dangling rattles and stuff. He grabs them and shakes them all over.

Amara loves her play gym and that has a lot of things that can be taken off and used individually. She was also fond of a rattle but doesn't really care for it much now. She's pretty much content with anything she can suck on.

Gemma loved her pacifier to suck on and to hold and shake. She also like the teething keys to shake and chew on. Newborns to a few months really don't need toys. They are quite happy to just look at mom. Mirrors and tupperware/pans and a wooden spoon can provide hours of cheap entertainment!

the bugs on board things you put on the carseat handle made my sons DAY! That singing caterpillar from baby einstine was a GODSEND! Morgan really didnt play with anything - but she LOVED the rings that hook together, and still does actually...LOL - we used the bugs on board dangly thingy's for her too. didnt really "play" with anything till about 3months + - so Id say something they can grab and suck on!

That Star Stacker thing is THE best thing we got. She Loved it when she was little and still loves It! She plays with it everyday, no matter what! Also she loves Stacking cup's. There east to hold onto and easy to put in the mouth.

Where did you buy the seahorse and star stacker? I haven't bought a ton of toys yet, Matthew isn't too interested. He likes to lay on his playmat and he does have a few linky toys he looks at. He loves to stare at the ceiling fan!

Walmart had the best prices. Both were like $10 each.

The only toys my kiddos played with in the newborn stage were my boobies, lmao. They were content just to be carried around and look around.
I think it was closer to 4-5 months when they began playing with toys. Plastic keyrings are normally a big hit, as are balls (rolling is fascinating). Once she could sit up on her own for extended periods of time, Alyssa could happily play with a large variety of toys for a surprisingly long time. Now she'll easily play for an hour by herself, just exploring, going from 1 toy to the next, mouthing things, and just letting her curiousity roam free. But, of course, she'll nearly 11 months old now!
