Well, big news from our household! We are moving, sometime in August. We are going back to SC, to the city I'm from. It's about 2 1/2 hours from where we are now, in Charlotte. We started thinking about it a few months ago, and then I got a phenomenal job offer I couldn't say no to. And to top it all off, my Mom will be our new nanny. The cost of living is lower, and it's only an hour and a half from the beach. I will REALLY miss living in a large city though. There are so many conveniences here, but I'll just have to become an expert internet shopper. Oh, and the schools are better back home. My DH is excited- he really thinks we need to be near one of our families. But his is in Buffalo, and neither one of us want to live in that type weather. In any case, that's our big news.
I've been reading all the posts regularly, but don't have much time to respond. Drake is 6 months old this Sunday, can you believe it??? We are going to Punta Cana next week (Dominican Republic), for a friends wedding. It should be quite interesting with a baby! But, I refuse to stop traveling, and I refuse to leave my baby for a week. I'll have lots of pics when I get back!

Congrats on the new job and everything!
On a side note---how hard was it to get a passport photo for him? Did you do it yourself or go to a walgreens or whatever to take it?

That sounds like a great plan! What will Eric do professionally? I recall he was starting a practice of his own, will he be able to keep that, or do the same thing in SC? I can't remember but I know that PA laws are different in every state.

There are a couple of options for him there, he's had two meetings with sleep labs there. I'd prefer him just get a job as a regular employee, but he prefers working as an independent contractor. We'll see what happens. Hopefully that issue will work itself out in the next month!

Wow- congrats on the big decision! I think its wonderful that your mom will be able to watch Drake 
Amen to traveling with a baby! It is good for them, even though it feels totally out of your comfort zone at this age.
