It was a really beautiful ceremony, very peaceful and joyful. It's a long story and I'm exhausted but we'll be doing it all over again in NC in a few weeks so I'll have Baptism Part II pics after that, haha.

We all went out to dinner afterward. I know a few of our friends have gifts for Vivi but they didn't arrive in time. Her baptism was originally supposed to be on July 12th but the church made a scheduling error and on Monday called to say they could only do it this Wednesday.

We're also doing a dedication ceremony July 26th back in North Carolina. Lee cannot get leave so we decided to do the baptism here in Texas with Lee and the dedication at our home church in North Carolina with our family. We are having a big catered party after the dedication.

As for gifts, with Lily we got a lot of traditional gifts, engraved silver spoons, silver comb/brush set, monogrammed Bibles, etc. I've only attended one baptism and Lee and I gave an engraved Tiffany's silver teething ring/rattle.
