When I was in grade 9 this girl was one of my best friends. Over the years we lost touch but I keeps tabs on her through facebook. Her baby was due on the 27th of june and she ended up having him via C section on july 2nd. Her first facebook update said he was in critical condition on being taken to Vancover childrens hospital but had made improvements, her second update said things have taken and downhill turn. Please say a prayer for Joanna, Bryan and baby Carson!! I will keep you updated when I know more!!!

She updated again and said: Carson has just had the surgery to begin ECMO (a serious procedure where they take the blood out of his body, oxiginate it and remove the co2 and put it back in. Blood transfusions are part of it). He has come through the surgery well and may be on this treatment 5-10 days, then if goes well at least 10-14 in ICU depending on recovery. Very risky but it is the last resort other then a lung transplant. being strong!

I took that right from her facebook!! I still really don't know what is going on but it sounds very serious!!!
