There are a couple girls in my DDC that love them. I plan on getting one because I hear so many good things about them. I also like the look

Angela, I ordered it from Ebay. There's loads of stores online do them though.

The reason I asked is, Kirsty has worn one for the past 2 days - I was skeptical about it - but she hasn't woke up screaming for the past 2 nights... to explain:

The past 2 to 3 months, every night within 1 or 2 hours of going to bed, Kirsty wakes up with instant screaming crying. No stirring just screaming. A few people have said it can be a sign of teething. She is teething and has been for about 2 months now, so I assumed this waking/crying must be teething.

Could be coincidence but worn for 2 days and now 2 nights free of this? hmmm!

I wanted to get one but never did. Maybe I should still get one? How much did you pay?

I've been reading up on them just now b/c my SIL is having a terrible time with my niece's teething. It looks like a lot of ppl say they work.

I have ordered cloth dipes from this site before and they have teething necklaces too for $13.50. Free shipping!

There are still going to be moments of discomfort for the little ones--NOTHING takes it all away. (well nothing any of us are going to give to a baby that is! LOL)

I know, I just thought that after 2-3 months of this screaming thing, we'd finally found a solution

I know you have to take them off at night so perhaps this is why it may or may not be helping her while sleeping? During the day it might be giving her relief as she is wearing it. Just a thought.

Maybe she would be in even MORE discomfort if she wasn't wearing it. Teething can be horrible in some babies I hope this passing soon for you both!
