How's Miss Violet doing? Did you get the test results back from the doctor? Is she still going well and gaining weight? How's your milk supply doing?

We haven't gotten any further tests back yet, we're supposed to get the last of them back this Friday. We are meeting with the pedi GI on Monday so most likely I won't get the test results until that appointment anyway. As for my milk supply, I've kind of hit a plateau. I went from only making 5 ounces of milk per day to 15 ounces per day but I can't seem to get it up from that. At this point, Violet is getting half breastmilk and half formula each day and while it's not my ideal, it's still better than no breastmilk. It's sad because nursing used to be so peaceful and relaxing for us and now it seems like such a struggle. I miss our quiet nursing sessions.

UGH that stinks that your supply seems to have plateau'd but you're right... any breast milk is better than no breast milk and I'm proud of you for trying so hard to get it to her despite all the craziness that's been going on. I hope you get lots of crystal clear answers on Monday.

Just wanted to update and say that we will not be meeting with the specialist tomorrow afternoon as previously planned. Evidently he is a fan of long weekends and has decided to take Monday off so now our appointment is set for Tuesday at 3:30 pm.
