Ugh.. Yesterday after I got home from work I was in a bad mood. It felt just like PMS and right before bed I got my 2nd AF. The good thing is I have not had any bad cramping since she came back. I use to always HAVE to take two Aleve or I was in major pain. Maybe it's because I'm still nursing?
I think last night was the first time when I was totally frusterated with Oliver. He wasn't even that bad. It must have been the PMS, wanting him to go to sleep so I could make my brownie ice-cream treat, and wanting to watch Big Brother. He was tired but all wound up and would not go to sleep. He was crying when I tried to get him to sleep so I got frusterated and put him down on the floor to play. As soon as I put him down he stopped crying and smiled up at me. It was like he knew he won and got his way. Is he old enough to know how to get his way with things like this? Then he pooped and I had to change him. (It's so cute and sad when he poops. His sweet little face gets all frowny looking and I can tell he is pushing.) He would not sit still for me to clean him up and get a new diaper on him. That frusterated me more. The whole time Damon is on the computer playing farm town while he knew I was frusterdated and could use a 2 min break. At the same time I was trying to put a load of CD's in because everything was about dirty. I finally got his diaper on and got him to go to sleep. I held him and he cried for about 5 mins and then passed out in my arms. After wards I felt mommy guilt because I'm sure he could tell I was in a bad mood. I was talking out my frusteration. Not to him but just out loud.
Oh.. my MIL came for a long weekend over the 4th. Everything went well. She didn't say anything about my still BF'ing or Co-sleeping. She didn't try to buy him food that wasn't organic. Alll of my worries were for nothing. She said a lot of positive things about how well I feed Oliver, how clean our home is, and that I look really skinny!
Now some pictures...

I'm so glad that your MIL didn't give you a hard time. And don't feel bad about being frustrated last night- we all have days like those! I think at this age, our kiddos do kind of know what they are doing. Reid will be fussing, I'll make him laugh, and he will smile/laugh right in the middle of a fuss! Its like he's saying, "Okay, that was funny mom, but I'm still pissed!"
Adorable new photos! You look so pretty when you smile like that- you ususually don't smile so big I like it!

I'm glad for the update on your weekend... I was meaning to ask but since you didn't mention it I thought maybe you had a change of heart or something. I remember a couple months ago you saying you were dreading her coming and that was the same time we were telling the ILs so I was thinking we'd both be 'in it together.' I'm glad she behaved herself and surprised you!
Oliver is just the handsomest little guy ever! He really is just HANDSOME. So cute!
Oh and sorry about AF... but that brownie ice cream treat thing sounds delish! haha

I'm glad your mil's stay went well, that must have been a pleasant surprise!
PMS hit me hard when I started getting af again after Loch. I no longer had cramps like I did before the boys (which were absolutely horrible by the way) but my mood got out of hand. I knew af would be coming because the couple days before I would get frustrated at the littlest thing, especially the boys not listening to me. He'll have his days where he's frustrated with you too so it all evens out! LOL
And he is just adorable! I love his little face and those eyes! You look really great too!

I love the pictures, he is such an adorable boy!
I bet he is old enough to know how to get his way...my niece is 9 months old and she has started "fake crying" to get what she wants.
