So in about 5 hours I'll be watching the new Harry Potter
Its sold out ALL OVER Dallas, and this theater alone has 5 viewings. We have the 12:04 viewing. I'm so excited!

Any reviews????

The good? New Moon trailer!!!!!

Bad? Pretty frustrated with screen play, as in majorly dissapointed. Acting much much more improved, Draco was hands down the best of the movie (really got the emotion to me). Most roles played very well. Dont want to spoiler too much, want to hear your review

So.. The "pro's" are giving this movie tons and tons of thumbs up.

The fans are slaughtering it. Calling it the worst of them all

Some quotes from fandango reviews

Quote:
I think it says a lot that the majority of the audience walked out unhappy... I was THAT disappointed. Awful, awful movie.

My mom and I are going to go next week. I just read a bunch of reviews on Yahoo and I wish I hadn't!! I just hope the movie doesn't spoil the book for me!

Yeah I wasnt feeling it too much. I don't want to get into it too much here and spoil it for those who didnt see it yet but needless to say my husband and I were not happy as were our friends who went with us. It makes me sad because this was one of my favorite books (only 3 tops it for me so I guess my hopes were too high) and that's what happened. I don't like book 5 or 2 and those two movies were great so I guess it has to do with expectation though I do feel like they skipped some key points though and added a few weird ones.

I didnt see the New Moon trailer at mine huh.

Well I just got back from it.

Much to Angela's I am sure heartbreak, there will be no pregnant women giving birth on the 10pm news tonight (she expected me to go into labor in the middle of the movie )

It's not my favorite. (my favorites are still GoF and OOTP) but it was needed as background for the last movies. It was a filler movie definitely. It's like the 1st movie... full of background and information and fluff.

I wish they included a few more scenes from the book.... but.... *shrug* what can ya do?

Ehh....2.8 stars outta 5.

I think DH and I are going to see it on Friday. He's read all of the books, I've read NONE- so you'll have two totally unique reviews
