Drake Update

Hi ladies! We are home from our vacation to Punta Cana, which was nice. Unfortunately, it wasn't restful at all since Drake didn't sleep great. But that's okay, it was still gorgeous!
We had Drake's six month checkup Monday. I am very sad to announce that we will only be nursing twice a day now; morning and night (mostly for comfort). He only gained 12 ounces in TWO MONTHS. He loves to nurse despite not getting much milk. It's been going down dramatically when I pump at work, but I had no idea it was that bad. It's so wierd, b/c he's a chunky looking baby, but the scale doesn't lie. In any case, he now gets his daytime bottles of all formula. I still let him nurse any time in between, but I make sure he gets offered 30 oz throughout the day of formula. I've gotta get some weight on him!!! I am happy though, we made it 5 and a half months on exclusive breastmilk. I'm proud, especially since I work fulltime!
He has two bottom teeth, and the tops are really starting to hurt him. I feel so sorry for him. We are also starting rice cereal this week. Lot of changes for my little man.
I promise to work on photos. It's really hard between here, facebook, and my blog. I feel like all I ever do is upload photos.
My parents are keeping Drake for two nights, and Eric and I are being super-productive. Today, we got our house cleaned out and staged, and it's going on the market on Friday. Now if we could only decide where to live when we move. And speaking of Eric, and to officially announce it, we are NTNP. We want our kids close, and so if it happens, then it happens. If I'm not preggo in a few months, then maybe I'll attempt to chart.
Okay, enough about us. Off to work on photos.......
