Have you ever made a diaper cake? Have you received one?
They look like so much fun! I looked up a few instructional videos and I'm thinking about doing it for profit. They just seem so expensive to make

I got one at my work baby shower. A lady I work with makes them. I sold mine on craiglist for $25. I had to list it 3 times before I had someone buy it. I sold it because I do cloth diapers and thought someone else might like to have it.

I've made them as gifts, they are fun. Astrid(May08 DDC mom of trips) makes them and shows them on her website and blog.

I've made one before -- but I made an expensive one meant to be from like 4 people (was like 100 dollars to make).

I am on the diaper cake committee for my FRG LOL I sound so lame! They are pretty easy to make just time consuming and I normally spend about $60 on them. I got a really cute one, it was all blue and lime green!

They are definitely cute! I didn't get one, of course I put on my registry we were doing cloth diapers. I did get a couple packs of diapers, but they did come in handy.
To make them not so expensive I guess you'd have to try and get cheap diapers, or use coupons for the diapers and buy your ribbon and add ons somewhere where they are not too pricey.

I've made a few now. Yes, they are expensive to make, but are great presents!
