I was trying to keep this on the down low all last week because I really didnt want to be let down by a bfn after I had already told everyone. Ive only talked about it in my TTC journal and a little bit in the TTC thread.

Jason and I bd'd without protection once this cycle around O time ....I had O pains and lots of ewcm on CD15-16. Today is CD38 (LONGEST cycle ever was 32days and that was only once) and no AF and no signs of her--i normally get crampy and feel like shes coming at least a day before. I got a bfn on a digi Saturday (isnt the sensitivity on those like 50?) and im just so confused. I have symptoms...lots of them. Up until Friday I had nothing and didnt feel pregnant. But i feel pregnant now, i cant explain it but I do. I guess its all the symptoms. Here is what ive been having:

Friday I got heartburn SOOO bad, and I fell asleep again at 7 (i fell asleep at 7 earlier during the week too).

I woke up at 6:30am Saturday with the heartburn, it woke me up it hurt so bad. Then my sister and I went shopping and I kept having to sit down because it hurt SO bad. Fell asleep at 9:30---we normally go to bed late on the weekends....

Sunday, OMG I just felt like sh**. We went grocery shopping and i was just so worn out and tired. I fell asleep in the car on the way home. (its like a 5min drive ) And then later at night when i was trying to cook dinner, a wave a nausea hit me like a ton of bricks i seriously had to take a break from cooking and go sit or else i was definitely going to toss my cookies.

Today really gassy and odd feelings in abdomen, i dont wanna say twinges/tugging feelings because i dont wanna sound like a nut if im not pregnant but it feels weird.

What should I do? I was going to call my dr. and request a blood test, but I think i might wait till Wednesday or so on that. Im just so confused. Today is CD38 207c7d Ovulation Charts and I have never had a cycle longer than 32 days (and i only had one of those). Wasnt Laurens (lala) bfp not until 21dpo?

I guess i just want to hear if I should even bother getting the blood test, or if AF is just a week late and you think thats it.

OH and before someone asks, I have not been stressed whatsoever this month. Like i mentioned somewhere else, Jason and I are so ahead of schedule with wedding stuff I havent even really done anything with the wedding this month! Weve just been going out on our boat and swimming at the lake, this is probably my most relaxed month since getting engaged!

Ok, I know I sound like a stalker now , but I would call the DR today, because he/she may not even be able to see you until later in the week; especially, since this isnt anything like a normal cycle for you.

Test with a FRER!! The digital tests aren't as sensitive or atleast thats what I've been told!! I'd wait it out a few more days and if nothing then call the doctor!

Good luck!!

Yea, I know the FRER's are alot less sensitive than the digis but I had a digi left over from when we were ttc and i told myself that was all i was using and i wasnt buying anymore. (i used to spend a ton of money on tests when we were ttc) I definitely didnt think after i used the digi that AF would go on to be late still today. So i guess i could go buy more tests but I kind of just want to have my dr order a blood test. I just dont know if i should even do that, the only person i ever know of getting a bfp this late was Lauren so I dont know if im just being an idiot thinking there is still hope after getting a - on the digi or if I really have a chance here.

Digi tests always take longer to register than a FRER. Honestly, I would test with a FRER. If that is negative, then I would go get a blood test.

Those all sound really good for pregnancy symptoms....esp since you are having a really long cycle. I say run out and pick up a FRER and see what happens.

Definitely test with a FRER. Since you aren't charting - it is possible you didn't O on CD 15 or 16. It could be an annovulatory cycle where you just geared up to O and didn't and that's why it's a longer than normal cycle. Or, y'know, you could be pregnant and a digi just wasn't sensitive enough! But I think you should definitely take a FRER before going in for a blood test... that seems like a lot of hassle when you could just do it at home. And yeah, Lala Lauren took forever to get a + too. But since that hasn't been your problem in the past I wouldn't imagine it is now. I think you should buy a FRER asap!

I think you should test on a FRER before you get a blood test. With a FRER, you control it and get the results right away. Digis aren't nearly as sensitive.

Good luck

I agree with the other girls. Go ahead and get a frer. They are so sensitive that you can trust whatever reading you get (unlike the digi). If it's 6 days past your longest cycle length then you should get some sort of line at this point. Or else you ovulated really late or not at all. I imagine buying a frer would be cheaper than the lab test. Either way I hope you can get some answers soon.

I also think you should use a FRER. If you aren't pregnant, maybe your cycle is so long because your body isn't back to normal after the miscarriages.

I dont have to pay anything for the lab test. I am going to pick up some FRER's on the way home today....ill test tomorrow morning or Wednesday morning if AF still isnt here, then if its a - and I still dont have AF Wednesday ill go in for the blood test i guess.

your previous bfps were not late were they? Without temping, its possible you o'd late. I would wait a few days and test with FRER. I trust them.

No, but i wouldnt think that every pregnancy would be the same. (Not saying im pregnant, but I always hear everyone say every one of their pregnancies was different).
