So tonight my friend calls me to tell me she just found out she's preggo. Normally I dont think I would have cared but she's my friend that I was pregnant with when I was carrying Cambria. She been talking about wanting another but there going through money problems right now so they decided to wait 6 months. Guess not...I guess Im just sad cause we were gonna have our next one together. I know what your gonna say, "Get pregnant!" Were waiting. We have to, we want to buy a house and hopefully pay off DH's debt...I guess Im just sad cause we experienced the same things before

*hugs* I'm sorry hon, but the waiting will be worth it when you get that house and are done with the debt. Who knows, maybe when you are ready another friend will be preggo with you and you will get to experience everything together again

Aww.. I can understand being a little sad about it. When your ready to try again and get pregnant it will be exciting because it will be the right time for your family.
I always get a tiny bit jealous when I see someone pregnant or see a newborn. It makes me miss those days. Maybe the two of us will be pregnant together in year or two!
Oh.. and you want an October baby next, right?

(((HUGS))) I can understand what you're feeling but you're waiting for all the right reasons.

I could completely understand! I would be a little upset myself. You and DH sound like you have a good plan and it will pay off in the end.

I understand! A good friend of mine who lives in the midwest is being induced today! We were pregnant together and I'm a *tad* jealous of her labor day. I think I miss that most.

Resi, I have to say that it warms my heart when I read your posts because when we were WTTC you were so "we're just having one" and now every time we post about it you come around a little closer to considering two. haha.
Amy - I think it's normal to feel a little left out/left behind in this situation because pregnancy has been your thing with her. But it sounds like you and David are waiting for great reasons! I'm sure it'll be hard and this feeling will come and go throughout her pregnancy, etc. but we're all here for you and totally understand if you want to vent

Very normal to feel that way! I am not close to wanting another one yet, but I will be soooo tempted to start TTC as soon as my sister or one of my close friends (both are actively TTC) announce they are pregnant! Not because I'm jealous, just because I would love to experience it at the same time as them!

In a way, that is what drew me to JM in the first place. Feeling like I was in a different place, either behind or ahead of, my real life friends. I needed a community where there were others who were going through the same decisions and experiences at the same time.
I felt left behind by one friend who got pregnant when I was miscarrying. And I have another friend who I want to hurry up and get started on her second baby so that we can have these experiences closer together, if not in sync. In reality, your life and your friend's life have different paces and different milestones, which is ok. You may have another friend or family member who syncs up with you the next time. If not, there is always JM!!

Maybe when she has her third! I was sad because my cousin and I were pregnant together when we had our daughters, and I went through a lot of sadness when she had baby #2, and was experiencing different things with two while I still had 1. Well, now we are pregnant together again, she's due in january with baby #3! Plus, you can think, when I'm pregnant next time she'll have an older child and probably be loving you having a new baby.
