I'm getting nervous over here... I've had that nervous feeling in my stomach all day long. I'm not nervous about getting married, not about everything being perfect... just the event, the big production of it all. No one warned me I would feel like this!
Is this normal? I don't think I've ever been this nervous over something. I feel like I would if I was about to give a huge speech in front of thousands of Harvard graduates or something! I always wondered about those home videos you see of brides either crying their eyes out or laughing uncontrollably at the altar, never understood it, but I think that will be me! Not sure if it will be the laughing or the crying though.

Aw, you'll be just fine! I was really nervous too but once things got under way I calmed down a lot. I'm not one to like having a lot of people looking at me (which is why I wasn't a fan of having my baby or bridal showers) but you do get used to it that day. Everything is going to be beautiful and I can't wait to see pics!!! Only 3 days, holy cow, I can't believe it!!!

Totally normal! It's just such a big event and since you've never been through it before, you don't know what to expect! Chances are you won't have any weird breakdowns, but parts of the day will seem very surreal to you, and other parts are going to go by so quickly that you can hardly remember them except you'll have hundreds of pictures of every minute of the day to help with that LOL. Try to remind yourself at various points to stop, breathe, and take in what's happening so that you have some really clear memories you can enjoy over and over again. It will be a wonderful experience!

for my wedding i planned it all out as best i could, then the day of i just went with the flow. and if everything was not exactly as planned it ended up being enjoyable anyways, so i wouldnt worry too much at all. it really is true that everything kinda falls into place though. i was so off in la la land that i was ready to walk down the aisle alone but then my brother joined me at just the right time (he was giving me away) and it was seamless. i've never admitted that i forgot he was giving me away to anyone! teehee!

This is totaly normal!!
I felt like that the week leading upto my wedding. The day before i was a total nightmare. I was running around like a headless chicken making sure everything was picked up and dropped off in the correct place.
I also wrote Gary a list out so he wouldnt forget anything... (He still forgot Mia's buggy though!!... Luckily SIL took our buggy that they have borrowed withthe car seat attachment and we put Mia in that when she needed a nap!)
I also had about 2 hours sleep the night before because i was so excited/nervous about the whole thing.
Your day will be perfect! Just enjoy your day!

Thanks so much ladies! Sarah, your story is too cute!
I'm kinda worried about DF. He's all calm, cool, and collected. I don't know what's wrong with him. I asked him if he was nervous, and he said, "about what?"

I will be the same way Krista! Im not nervous about everything being perfect, or marrying Jason...but its the fact that it is this big event all centered around "us"...ya know? Its kind of nerve wracking!!!
And Jason is the SAME way!!! I always ask if hes nervous or anything like that, and hes like for what? then i say the wedding of course and hes like why? He always says hes just embarassed to be bawling his eyes out like a baby in front of possibly 300 people! lol Im so jealous! I wish our big day was as close as yours!! GOOD LUCK I cannot wait to hear all about it!
I know youve probably mentioned it before, but my mind is all over the place! Are you going anywhere for your honeymoon? If so, are you leaving right away? Just wondering how long were gonna have to wait to see wedding pics!

Krista &Y Ash -- don't freak out about the guys not being nervous. I was totally calm and not nervous at all leading up to it... which I don't know if it's because I didn't have TIME to be nervous, lol, or if everything had just been planned for so long that I got to the apathetic point of not really caring what happened as long as we were married by the end of the day or what but I was totally calm and collected. The day of the wedding I don't think I've ever been more calm in my ENTIRE LIFE... I still would not be surprised if someone told me they slipped a xanax in my coffee that morning. haha. It's a huge event thta both of you girls are totally prepared for and I'm sure it'll go fine... there will be things that don't happen the way you planned but you likely won't notice or care even at all in the grand scheme of things. It's totally normal to feel anxious or relaxed.... and I am SO excited to see both of your wedding pics!

I was VERY nervous. I was SO shy back then. I was nervous about all the attention. I remember James' grandma coming up after wards, giving me a hug and saying she thought I was going to faint cause I was SO white. hahaha.

Well, I'm about to get all packed to leave tomorrow! So, I gotta make this quick... had to check in on my girls though.
Ashley, to answer your question, we aren't going on a honeymoon, but we are going to a mini family reunion at my dad's afterwards. My grandma couldn't come because she is just too weak, so we are going to her! We will probably dress up in our wedding garb for her too.
So, depending on how busy it is at my dad's house, I *might* be able to post this weekend or early next week if I have the pics by then (I might not, I can't remember). I come back home on Tuesday, though.
