My BP was 151/101! I felt a bit odd and took it. Then I waited about 15mins and took it again and it was 144/99. He said we'd just keep an eye on it for a couple weeks. I also had another quant level drawn and he told me on the phone that it was 218.....he said that everything was
looking really good. He said that I was just barely pregnant lol that I wasnt much over a couple of weeks. He said that I caught it REALLY early and that the numbers sometimes start out kinda slow and then pick up and double like they should and that's what mine are doing. He said that even though I thought the BP was high, and it was elevated, it still wasn't high enough to treat just yet. He said they would rather monitor it over a couple of weeks to see what it was doing like that. He said that they were going to be checking my quants 1x per week and when they got to 10k they were going to do an U/S.

and all that panic over not being sick was erased this evening about an hour ago when I was kneeling before the porcelain god.

Well, you are too early in preg for it to be considered preg induced. If it that high over the next few days its most likly chronic hypertension that was just never caught. Either that....or you're really just anxious and stressed which is stimulating an appropraite stress response in your body.

If you have a home monitor, I'd check it a couple times a week until your next appt.

well how it started was with Brayden. He LOVES to push the buttons on the crappy one at Walmart. SO I noticed it was always high there, then when DBF would do it, it was normal lol. So I went to my reg. dr who monitored it for a month----no big issues. Ranged from 130-140/78-88 ish. Sometimes higher, sometimes lower. So I know its never been high high before. Even With Brayden it didn't get like that. But I have been feeling soooo odd lately---clumsy odd and I didn't think it had anything to do with being a wee bit pg----I mean I got clumsy with Brayden but that was like 6m or so, kwim. So I had the home monitor-----newly calibrated------and took it. I do plan to watch it a couple times a week just to see. Maybe I've developed a high BP condition that I never knew about. It does run in my family

scratch that last sentence. I just took it and it is a mere 115/77. Maybe I had the cuff to low and the fact that I got sick about 20 minutes had a lil something to do with it lol. oh well......

I would just take it once a day and write it down--you may have some boarder line BP issues that you need to keep a little closer eye on.
