Update on us - 6 weeks!!

Hi guys....I'm sorry I haven't been posting....I've been on and reading all the updates and what not though! LOVE all the pictures people are posting! Our family is doing great. Nora is really doing great! Her and I both had our appts in the last few weeks - her one month and mine 4 week post partum. I am so excited because I was 2 pounds away from my pre-pregnancy weight at my 4 week appt....however all my old clothes fit perfectly so I am excited about that....was worried I might need to buy all new summer clothes....yipee! Nora was up to 8 pounds 6 ounces...go boobie milk. However last week we started giving her one bottle a day - first of breast milk then of formula....I really want her to have time to get used to the formula for when she goes to day care at 12 weeks. But we're still doing majority breastfeeding so that is good.

On Monday I go back to work part-time....basically I can just go in when I want and do as much as I want...I am bringing Nora with me....everyone in the office loves her and she'll just hang out in the swing etc. She's sleeping about 5 hours and then 3 hours stretches at night so I'm still pretty well rested. So far we haven't had any real issues with her....hope it stays that way. Harrison is a great big brother...right now he's letting her suck his fingers...he thinks its hilarious...he said "she's pretending my finger is food!" He's really done so well with the whole new sibling thing. So wish me luck today - I'm taking both kids by myself to a birthday party for one of Harrison's little friends! Thanks for listening. I have new pictures but I've been too lazy to upload them....I will though - I promise.

We need pictures!!! I'm glad that Nora's sleeping so well and that Harrison is so great with her.

I absolutely LOVE pictures of older siblings holding baby siblings, so make sure to dig out more of those!!

I was going to ask for pics too! It's great to hear that everything is going well with both of you. Harrison is too cute!!! I'm happy he's having a good time with his little sister.

Great to hear from you girl! That is awesome you can take Nora to work with you. She sounds like she is thriving, and Harrison sounds like such a sweet big brother

I still can't believe she is a week older then Jack!

And you go for being back to your pre preggo size. My goal was 6 weeks too, but I somehow ended up in a time warp and am not even close yet

Oh well, I feel sexier then ever though!

Thanks Gals! I know I know pics pics pics - as soon as Harrison goes down for a nap today I'll post some more and I have quite a few of Harrison since every time he holds her he says "take a picture of us"!

Michelle...you must have missed my one month old post - I had a whole update about Brayden coming out to meet her....here are some pics again of that!
