Appt Today...

Well I had just a routine appt today- Everything looks great!! Doc said it's a text book pregnancy- all my tests came back normal- no abnormalities nothing looks wrong w/ anatomy. She did give me phenegran since my nausea is getting worse and told me that my back pain would get worse!

but she showed me some exercises I could do.

Best part: We got to hear the HB for the first time! I haven't heard it at alll until today! DH was in awe - it was cute! Next appt is in 4 wks and I'll do my sugar glucose test then! So, for now everything looks great!!!

That's great! It is really special to hear the heartbeat

That totally sucks about the nausea. That's awesome you got to hear the HB for the first time! I guess I should stop whining about my not getting an ultrasound b/c starting at 12weeks every appointment we get to listen to the HB.

It's such a great sound. Did she tell you what it was? I'm just curious since you know you're having a girl if it was 'high' like the wives tale says it 'should' be. So far in here I think it's been the opposite, lol.

Glad to hear that everything is progressing well. I can't believe you haven't heard the heartbeat before, it's one of the best sounds ever!

everyone we tell thinks we should have heard hb sooner! I know DH wanted to hear it sooner but oh well- it was great getting to hear it! At my last u/s her hb was 158 but she didn't tell us what it was yesterday but it was beating faster then mine!!!
