So last week ( 10 days to be exact ) We just had enough of getting up in the middle of the night with Cambria. She would do this at least twice a week. So we decided to move her into her bedroom, FINALLY....yes I know we should have done it a while ago. Ever since, she's not only started going to bed early she's slept through the night. And most of the time when we put her down for bed she's either awake or doesn't fuss more then 10 mins before going to bed. I can't believe thats all it took! Oh and we got her crib finally. However it's in our kitchen in the box still. Hopefully we can get it up in the next few days. We never have a free day to do it plus im kinda waiting for a crib saver to come in the mail before we put her in it and she chew's it up,

That's FAB Amy!!! WTG Cambria!! We put Kirsty in her own room when she was 3 weeks old as every little noise we made woke her up and same for us. She is a loud sleeper (snores & farts!!). She slept better through in the nursery.

Oh man, I'm so jealous!!!!! Preston used to sleep really good and now he wakes up every single morning at 3 am and cries until 5 am...........sometimes 5:30 am. We have to be up to take Chris to work at 6:30am.......And I don't sleep well anyway.....so let's just say I'm exhausted!!!!! All the time!!!!

EVERY noise we would make would wake her too.

Thats how she's been forever too. Thats why I was surprised when I moved her in there she's slept through the night. I guess thats all she needed.

We co-slept till she was 9 months then she was in the PnP next to us in our room. Now she's in her own room down the hall.

That's awesome!! I moved Amara into her room last week to see if she would sleep better since she started getting up a lot but it has made no difference. She used to be a good sleeper but now she can't seem to settle herself once she gets up. Luckily she doesn't fuss a lot to go back to sleep.

I guess when you use the PNP for a bigger baby they just go down in the bottom? (non bassinet) Is it hard to get them down in there without waking up?
I'm thinking Matthew might start getting too big for the mini co-sleeper but I don't know if he sleeps reliably enough for me to put him in his room upstairs in his crib. I was thinking of using the PNP but I haven't set it up yet.

I wonder when Oliver will follow Cambria's lead? If I put him to sleep in his crib he wakes up way more at night time. The most I have ever gotten out of him is 3 hrs in his crib. He sleeps much better with me.
I'm glad it's getting better with Cambria's sleep. I know it's been a little issue for some time for you.

Shannon, Thoes bassinetts only go up to 15lbs, check the weight limit on yours. Even as infants, out of safety and a piece of mind, I put them in the bottom. To this day Morgan still uses hers at nap time and bedtime before we switch her over to her bed when we go to bed - the kids wont let each other fall asleep...grrr...
