So this whole time ive been saying how I dont want a shower because I felt bad because Jason and I have lived together for almost 4 years and we already have so much, I felt bad having a shower where you get gifts AND getting gifts at the wedding. Well, one of my loud mouth friends (LOVE her ) spilled the beans!! Jasons mom planned a surprise wedding shower for us on Saturday!!!!!! Its a co-ed party and she said on the invitation we'll be swimming, playing games, and having drinks!!!! My friend also said on the invitation it said "SHHHH its a surprise in really big print" If there was gonna be anyone who killed the surprise part, it would be her But i love her. Im so glad she told me, I would have been so sad if Jason and I showed up to our own wedding shower looking like bums Now I can buy a shower dress!!!!
I just had to share my excitement, for some reason im really really excited! I think im just so excited to spend the day with everyone and swim and have a great time!! Yippppppeeee now I cant wait until Saturday!

You deserve a shower, don't feel bad. Just because you've lived together doesn't mean you own everything you need to, and the wedding is a step into adulthood, so people want to shower you with higher-quality things than you tend to have as a young couple.
Have fun and take lots of pics to share!

That's awesome Ashley! I'm also the friend/family member best known for spilling the beans.. Sometimes I get surprised too lol. The one big regret I have was not celebrating our upcoming wedding with a shower-- forget the gifts part, but having all the females in my life who love me no matter what in one room DYING to know if this was a shotgun wedding would have been FUN!
