I was 97 yesterday and 98 this morning but I also drank last night, could this be the cause?

Yes, I always experience a temp increase the morning after drinking. It also seems the more I drink, the larger the temp spike!

Yes! Its most likely the cause! Alcohol always affects temp! (in most cases)

thats what I thought, I didnt drink a lot, but had a few, which would be why its 98 instead of 97. Now if I drink when I ovulate (I know I should just quit LOL) will FF know when I ovulate even if the temp is higher? And last one, if my temp is higher can FF misread it and tell itself that I ovulated?

A one-day temp jump won't confuse FF. However, if you happened to ovulate on the same day as an alcohol-related temp jump, it could take a day longer for FF to register the crosshairs. The reason is that you should mark "drinking" when you record this temperature in FF, and it should give you an open circle for that temp, meaning it's kind of throwing it out in terms of looking for your overall pattern.
