Please look at this and if you own a Maxi-Cosi seat make sure yours isn't on the list

Eek, that's scary! I'm not sure if this affect UKers, my car seat is a silvercross so I personally don't need to worry.

TFS this Justine!

No we have a Graco one, the Maxi Cosi were way out of our price range(and made by the same company as some of the cheaper ones so I know the quality of the expensive one is very similar to the cheaper ones), I saw this posted on the Hosts board and passed it to my PR and thought I'd share here too with all the new mommies and the pregnant ones incase someone had it

I would love to get a maxi cosi for Kirsty in the 9m-4yrs group but they are as you say, just way too pricy. I love the features they have, especially the hooks to put the babyseat seatbelt into whilst you sit baby in - it annoys me when the seatbelt ends up under her botty!
