I'm doing my placenta capsules today. London is doing great!!!! My milk came in yesterday after---literally while we were in Target! LOL I wasn't expecting it that quick!!!
Baby and I had our chiropractor appointments yesterday which felt great and London loved. I have only hear him cry once and that was during the PKU test on monday night, he is just alert so much more then I was expecting but he isn't fussy at all--just wants to look around (which is fine since me and daddy have slings and he has been on us 98% of the time). He is sleeping great, eatting great...he is just GREAT! LOL. My nipples are tender but now with my milk in and I'm doing one boob per feeding they have gotten better quickly. I was surprised that after just ONE bad feeding (lazy latch) I got blood blisters! But then equally surprised how fast they healed. I have been using my Earth Moma Angel Baby Nipple butter after every feeding and my m/w has me on arnica for post-birth pain...which I don't have any so it must be working. I don't even need a spray bottle to go the bathroom and started using TP that night. I am down 2lbs from my pregnancy weight and back in my old clothes (well new bras lol).
I think I'm in the weird group for very quick recovery people also.

OH!! Troy got an ergo sport carrier from some of his co-workers today!!!!!! He found out last week that his boss actually had all three of his babies at home and even delivered the last one because the m/w didn't get there in time. Plus a couple other co-workers who had home-births....so troy knows more IRL people who have had homebirths then I do. LOL.

oh!!! If you have my birth blog I have the birth photos up! (GRAPHIC). I'm having issues getting the video up though...not sure if its to long or what.

I hope I have a very similar pregnancy to you!!! Little belly with no stretchmarks, quick recovery and medicine-free birth (I'm not brave enough for a home birth, but I really think I want a water birth I would definitely not mind being back at my pre-preg weight 3 days later

I looove your birth photos! Amazing! My favorites are the ones of London BFing for the first time It is marvelous how they know, just moments after they are born, to open wide and suckle. I remember that moment so clearly when I had Reid. They look so confused, but once they find the boobie, all is right in the world

I'm glad you are all doing so well! London is just gorgeous. I'm so proud of you, and I never doubted for a second that you would get your NCB. The photos are amazing, and they brought me to tears. What an amazing birth day London had!

Glad you are doing well! I will check out the pics soon. I was looking at the ones on Troy's FB and telling Dh that I think I want a waterbirth next time. He was impressed with your tub!

Oh and you have to let me know how you guys like the Ergo Sport, I think if I get an Ergo that's the one I'm going to buy.

Awesome pics! It is amazing, I was watching your face through the pics and you never seemed to have that look of panic. I can't wait to hear the whole story, I am always interested in what women are thinking and feeling through birth.

Daddy looks very proud! I'm glad you are doing so well.

You are a for real super woman. Your birth was everything you wanted and I'm so glad you had that experience. I also feel very privileged to have been able to share parts of it with you. Especially since I wont be able to have that kind a birth at least with my first baby. So glad you are both doing well. How is Troy handling 'his' PP recovery

Absolutely amazing. This makes me want to have a home birth even more (if that was possible). You just look so at peace and London just looks like he arrived and said "hey guys, whats up?". Just amazing. Thank you for sharing everything with us.

I just wanted to add - the experience was even more amazing than the photos even reflect - and I was soooo honored to be a part of it. I'm glad the pictures turned out so well! Hopefully you'll be able to share the video also. I would love to re-live the actual birth again, it was so hard to take it all in the first time!
