Oliver's Birthday Theme

I wanted to share my ideas for Oliver's birthday party. I wasn't sure what I was going to do but I wanted a fall-ish theme. I was looking on Etsy yesterday and found an adorable shirt for him to wear. I based his theme of the shirt. It's owl themed.

His shirt will have a brown & orange owl with his name on the back.

I'm going to do cupcakes and most likely a big cake too. I'm going to get cupcake toppers, matching party hats, party favor tags, banner, and a centerpiece for the big cake. I'm having someone make them all for me on etsy. The colors will be brown, green, and orange. Here are some examples but with my colors.

Some examples:

I'm going to make this cupcake stand. The middle part will be brown ribbon and the base parts will be some kind of green paper. I want it to kind of be like a tree.

I was going to make my own cupcakes & cake but I think I'm going to have whole foods make them. We are going to have fried chicken, cornbread casserole, a bean dish, and veggie lasagna. I'm having the fried chicken and lasagna catered. I will make the side dishes and appetizers. We are also going to rent tables, chairs, and table clothes. We are having 12-20 people and don't have any extra.

That is such a cute theme!!! I think it will turn out great!!! I can't wait to see pictures of it all put together!!! I can't believe he is almost 1!!!

Awww I love owls, so I am biased and think that is such a cute idea!!!

I think its good that you are having others take care of a lot of things - less for you to worry about!

Oh I love that!!!

You could make his cakes! You could do like a tree (like you said) by doing some big cakes all carved up and with green icing, then make a cute little owl out of a cupcake!

Well if you have time haha I always have these ideas and then never the time or energy

Can you request what you want from them? I love your tree idea! I also love the color choice for the party

Resi, that is going to look fantastic! The shirt and the owl stuff is just adorable.

I am so not creative or artistic with things like that, so I may go do some searching on etsy as well and maybe someone can make me some things for Hallie's big party. Oliver's is for sure going to be awesome!
