Anyone else had issues with horrible acne after BCP?

The breakouts are horrible and its not even on my face its all over my back and chest!!!! I feel like I'm a teenager again.. I don't like this I already use a acne body wash and it doesn't seem to be helping anymore... My skin was so clear while on BCP..

Any tips that could help me out?

ooo mee!!!! My forehead looks like a landmine exploded!! I use the nutrogena deep cleansing - not sure if it helps but it feels good

Try the Clean and Clear Face Lotion -- the one for acne (its in a gray bottle with a purple top). I use it everyday after my shower, it does not dry my face out, and it keeps most pimples away. I also use Cetaphil to wash my face twice a day

I feel your pain! After 10 years on the BCP with hardly a pimple in sight, I now get acne leading up to AF. I also have pimples on the top of my back which is really gross. The acne was a lot worse when I first went off the pill about 18 months ago, I think it's just really bad at first when all your hormones are trying to sort themselves out.

my skin went crazy too! I was even using ProActiv and it didn't help AT ALL! I upped my water intake and tried to just keep my face as clean as possible- it did get better though after my hormones had a chance to even out!

I'm still struggling with it. I found some success with the Wexler collection from bath and body works.... expensive though.

Yes! I just posted in the private forum, so check it out. My breakouts were the absolute worst in the years off of bcp.

For me, I only use natural products (the fewer ingredients the better), and I make my own toner. I have unique skin tho because I can no longer use benzoil peroxide or salicyic acid--they both make me break out. And any facial cleanser (and lotions) I use must be glycerine free. Aloe vera gel works great to dry out blemishes.

Im sorry to hear that Aimee I hope you find something that helps. I didnt get any ance even as a teenager until I got pregnant! Ive given up with it too. I dont even wear make up and I still break out horrible!!
