Well ladies.. as some of you may have seen on facebook.... I'M ENGAGED!!!! Chris proposed very early on Saturday morning! We were spending Friday night at my parents house because we were going to a concert early Saturday morning with my brother. I had gone out for a drink with Chris' cousins and then met him at home around 1230am when he got out of work. He kept telling me to pack my bathing suit.. but I forgot it anyways. I agreed to go hang out with my feet in the hot tub with my brother and his friends so Chris went to put his suit on. I was in my parents kitchen and he comes in and says "I have a knot in the string can you undo it please" I look, no knot. I'm trying to explain to him that there is no knot, but he kept insisting, of course it was a ploy because the next thing I knew he was down on one knee.  I can hardly remember what he said, it was all a blur. lol My entire family knew! He had gone on Tuesday to their house to show my mom the ring, and ask my dads permission Even my 9 year old sister knew. I'm still on cloud 9. It didnt really sink in tho until today when I went to my parents to hang out by the pool and I walked in and my aunt yells "there is the bride to be!" So as of 1am on Saturday August 15th.. I really am a bride to be! Holy ****!!! We are planning on a cruise wedding in the summer of 2011!!

Well it's about time you came and told us the story! I was dying! I'm so, so happy for you---you're ring is just beautiful. The way he proposed is too cute. I did the whole cruise wedding thing, so feel free to ask whatever you'd like. And check out the website Cruise Reviews, Cruise Deals and Cruises - Cruise Critic. They have message boards, including one for planning your cruise wedding. Lots of good info there.
