Hey gals...Here is a pic from yesterday of my kids....look how big Nora looks compared to Harrison. It's so fun to see them together....she LOVES him! He makes her smile the most and make coo sounds. He of course loves her so much. I had a freak out moment the other night - I was getting her bath ready (her baby tube in our jacuzzi tube) and she was naked on the floor not even four feet from me...(on the carpet in the bedroom) and Harrison was entertaining her. I turn to fill the tub for one second and I hear him singing "Naked baby, taking a bath" and I turn and he's right behind me carrying the baby (in a not so comfortable fashion for her I"m sure) and I freaked out!
We had to have ANOTHER serious talk about NOT picking up the baby. I felt bad cause I kind of yelled at first (I just had visions of him dropping her on the tile floor) and I know he just wants to help and have fun with her. It's challenging thats for sure!!! But I wouldn't change it for the world!

They are both so adorable! It's sweet how he just wants to help and love on her. How far apart are they?

aww.. You have beautiful children..

And I'm with you on being a little concerned with our older children near the baby.. I have a feeling it's going to be vary challenging telling my 24 month old NOT to jump on the baby or NOT to swing the swing hard, or NOT to bounce the bouncer hard.. It's going to be so much fun.. lol

They are so cute! I know what you mean about the older sibling wanting to help but it being more of an issue at time LoL. Taylor was just pushing Rylie in her swing and she usually does fine but she started pushing really high and fast and I've told her a billion times not to do that haha!

Aw!!! Look at them together! They are both so sweet.

I wouldn't feel bad for yelling, I'm sure it was just a knee-jerk reaction, you know? That would have totally freaked me out too.

They are so adorable Keri! It's cute that Harrison wants to help, but the mental images are not so cute lol.

Ha - I'm glad to hear I'm not alone with the older helper "issues". 99% of the time he is a super huge help to me though .

Nikki - my kids are about 3 years apart - Harrison was three in April and she was born in June. I love the 3 year age separation actually. I can take them out and about pretty easily because he can take care of himself for the most part. Him being potty trained is the hugest thing that makes it much easier on me to be with the two of them without any help!

They are so cute together. I would have freaked out too if I saw my older child holding my little baby like that! I'm glad it turned out okay.

They are both so adorable! I can see Liam pulling a stunt like that when the new baby gets here. Just wanting to help out but not in the safest of ways. I didn't have that issue when Lochy was new since Liam was only about a year and a half and didn't want to be bothered. He'll be 4 though when the baby gets here and I can see him wanting to be very hands on. I'd probably have yelled at first too, it's that panic reaction you can't help. Harrison sounds like a great big brother though!
