the poor little thing will be nameless.
It's a little frustrating I can't find anything that I love. It was so easy for us to choose the boys' names and it was a girls name that always had us stumped. Now its the other way around. We picked our girls name the day after we found out this baby was coming and we're stuck on a boy's name. I'm not going to stress about it until we found out the gender but if we find out its another boy I'm going to really have to enlist all your help in finding a great celtic name.

Maybe its not a boy
Do you want to stick with Irish names? Names only with an L?
What about Cael or Donovan?

Yeah, I've thought from the moment I saw the positive that this was a girl. But who knows. Dh thinks its another boy because a girl wouldn't be practical. Guess he didn't get the memo that mother nature isn't practical!
I do want to stick with an irish name if its another boy, doesn't have to be an L. And I really like Cael. But that's the problem, there are a lot of names that I really like but none that jump out at me that I love, kwim?

I like thinking that if I can't come up with a boys name then its a girl. More people are pulling for a girl than a boy (but really, no one cares *that* much).
I do have lots of boys names that I "like", but like Jenn none that make me stop and go "THATS IT!!!!" like our girls name did.

We'll help!!! I finally got Mike to drop his Connor Michael plans last night and our 1st son, if and when we get there will be Lucas Walter-- Luke, as a nn for my name, and Walter for his DEARLY beloved uncle who died while on duty as a city firefighter due to a stroke. I even meet people around town and people hear my last name and they toll me how great Wally was. I think it's a good name with a huge family background and I'm really happy.
Is there a specific Celtic name book you can buy?

I think boys names are tough! I love lots of them but Andy never likes the ones I do. We always seem to agree on girls names though LoL

Boy names are so hard, we have a girls full name picked out but can not come up with a good boys middle name and I am so picky about the first and middle name flowing just right.
What about Aiden? I love that name but DH hates it(Sounds funny when Swedish people say it). I believe that is Irish, not 100% sure though.

I refused to even think of names before we knew the gender and even then it took us until the 3rd trimester to decide! I figured we didn't need the hassle of coming up with two names when one would do the trick. Have you had your scan yet? Hehe, I'm still going with twin boys for you!
Irish names I like: Donal, Emerson, Eamon, Owen and Colm. I know you will find something if it comes down to it You still have tons of time.

That little baby inside you is going to be a girl!! Well.. that is what I'm hoping for you.
We had Oliver picked out for a long time and no other boys stood out to us. Girls names were hard to agree on. It took us a long time to pick a girls name. Now if we had another boy it would be so hard to find a name we loved. Maybe it's a sign.
Oh! Mars.. I love Evan. I have considered that for a boy name.

I guess I'm the odd woman out in that we had several girls names that we liked but no boys names that stood out. Nothing set in stone though and it took us until the last minute to decide on Matthew for sure.
I am already thinking about what name we'll use if we have another boy or if we have a girl.
Do you mind sharing the girl names you like? If it's a boy I'm sure something will come to you!

There are a ton of cute Irish names so we'll help you - but I'm holding out for a girlie girl for you Jenn! I liked Callum for a boy for us but I think its Scottish and not Irish???

I'm not going to get my panties in a bunch about it until I find out if it is another boy or not. It's just a little frustrating that we never had a hard time picking a boy name until now. I guess I just used up the boys names we loved. We do know the middle name will be Frederick after my MIL's deceased father. Here's our list so far though (in no particular order): Colin, Shannon, Aidan, Cillian, Nevan, Connall, Sean, Ardan, and now Cael has made the list too. I'm sure I'll gather more along the way too.
Our girl name is Lila Agnes. Agnes is after dh's Grandma who passed away 2 years ago. She was an awesome lady; very spunky, spirited, tell it like it is, but also very loving, generous, and funny as anything.
BTW: Love the new boy name Michelle--very cute and great meaning!

I like Colin best. Actually LOVE Colin. Enough to consider it myself.
I love Lila. It's a name I considered when pregnant with Oliver. I like the middle name also because it's old fashion and a family name.
How have you been feeling? Is the morning sickness getting better?
