What bottles do you use? I need to get a couple because my mom is coming to visit for a few days and during our anniversary so she is going to babysit so we can go out just the two of us....so I need 1-2 bottles/nipples that I can leave her with some expressed BM.

GL! I hope he takes a bottle for you.
I'm still trying to get Kirsty to take one. It's been 4 months now!

Resi uses thoes green to grow (.com) bottles. Ive seen them sold in target. I think anything that is BPA free would be ok. Recycled plastic would be even nicer...

We just use regular ol' Platex Drop-Ins - all standard bottles are BPA free these days. However, I know that they do sell glass bottles at Babies R Us. I don't know what brand they are though- and they are expensive!

Angela! How can you not include ME as a natural momma?!
We use the BornFree bottles and LOVE them. The vent system is the bomb and it doesn't have a crazy-ton of pieces to put together like the Dr. Brown's.

Matthew takes the BornFree glass bottle as well. More pricey but we only had to buy one since it's just for occassional use. We introduced it around 4 weeks. But if he goes more than a week or so without taking at least one bottle, he kind of "forgets" I think.

We just use the medela(sp?) ones I got for free but she hasn't taken a bottle since she was around 4weeks old she refuses to. If I was going to buy some they would be the glass ones.

I use the new BPA free Dr. Brown's. The vent system is great and although there are two pieces to the vent system I don't find it annoying...since it has helped both of my kids avoid any kind of gassy/spit up etc. problems.
Good luck!

Oliver likes the Green to Grow but I ordered them online. I have some Born Free too but he never cared for them. I also have a glass set I ordered online but never used.
Oh.. I bought the wide neck nipple because it's more like mama.

Is there any difference between the born free and green to grows? Does one have something different then the other (I am trying to pick between these two--they are both at our local store!) I don't want to do glass ONLY because it isn't the most travelable ones with cleaning and wt issues. (I may get one to play with while I'm here though).

I dont think there is any difference - its all plastic if you look at it. My biggest thing is making sure its BPA free and it offers a wide nipple as resi says!

We used the Born Free at first but I didn't end up liking them. We ended up with the wide neck Dr. Browns (BPA free of course) and I love them! I used the regular Dr. Browns with Aden and they really help with not getting air and upset tummy for the baby. I don't mind washing the parts...we just put them in the dishwasher anyways.
If you want Angela I actually still have a bunch of the smaller size Born Free bottles I can send you FFS. You would just have to buy new nipples though.

Actually, my understanding is the Green To Grow bottles do not have a vent system to help reduce spit up and colic, and the BornFree bottles do.
