Today is day 3 of Kirsty on bottles, and the last 2 days I have pumped 8oz across the day so I could mix with formula to help Kirsty adjust. This morning I had planned to do all formula to see how she took it and she was fine with it... so my pumping/BFing days are gone!

I'm happy as I have been ready to wean for a while now, altho a little sad to lose this special thing we do. Thankfully Kirsty loves cuddles so we have made up for that

This morning I feel quite full in the breasts but not sore (yet?!) Did you get sore? It's 8:18am, so I'm hoping the worst may pass before bedtime tonight. Am I expecting things to happen too quickly?! lol!

How long did it take for your milk to dry up? How long did you feel heavy/full/engorged for?

I thik fi they only stay full for a few days .. mine did after birth ... think it was about 4/5 days ..... only the irst 2 were painflish but not unbearable .... just take parocetomal if they get too painful

I was pretty engorged and sore for a day or 2. It's so nice to sleep without a bra on

Have you fully weaned Lisa or are you BF & FF?

I'm incredibly uncomfy now. My boobs are huge, hard and sore. I really want to go and pump, but I know if I pump, I'll only be in this state again in a few hours. It's probably better to "ride it out" now I've gotten to this point?
