[bittersweet]

I had my 16 week appointment yesterday. It was ok. I got to hear the baby's HB! That was the best part (only good part really). It was 152. HB was 141 during my 10 wk u/s. Boy or girl??

Anyhow, the people in the OB office are not the brightest IMO. They wrote down all my info wrong and the NP came in lecturing me b/c they had my weight recorded as 160 something...and they had my BP all wrong too. When I tried to correct her she acted like I was lying and trying to deny my massive weightgain. When in fact I've gained 5-6 lbs... She eventually wrote down the correct numbers as I told her, but I was still really annoyed. She was less than pleasant and pretty disinterested for the rest of the entire 5 minute appoitment I had.

Then I tried to make my u/s appointment and they are booked for all of Sept. And of course, they arent taking Oct appointments at this time. You would thinnk if they had 'so many pregnant women' as they lady told me, they would make their schedule go out a little farther...

But at least I know all is well with baby for far. And that is the important thing. Next appoitment I'm going to see a different provider.

Other good news. DH agreed to a seperate 3d/4d u/s. I made that appoitment for Sept 16. I'll be 18 weeks. Only 2 weeks away!

maybe you can get in with a midwife? i find the appointments not to be rushed at all, very laid back (i go with my SIL). its still early on, my SIL didnt even have a midwife till around 18 weeks i think, might have even been 20 weeks. i'm so glad all is well with your little baby!!

Glad that the baby is doing well, but EWWW to how you were treated! You should find a new OB for sure.
