I can't believe I can say this.. But I'm due next month..

Everything is going great with this pregnancy.. I have only gained 1 pound so far and at my 31 week appointment I was measuring 29 weeks.. So I'm 2 weeks behind.. I usually measure right on track, but it could have been the way the baby was positioned.. But it's still great since I do have gestational diabetes and women tend to measure bigger. I'm also only insulin at night for my fasting blood sugars, the rest of my numbers are all controlled by diet. Since I'm doing so great and all of my blood sugar numbers are low, I didn't have to start Non Stress Tests (NST's) until I'm 34 weeks.. Which I'm thankful for because it's hard to do all those appointments when I work full time and can't loose any time from work.. Also, in 9 days I finally get to see my baby again. I haven't seen my little guy since I was 19 weeks along.. I have a U/S scheduled to see if the placenta has moved and check on the growth of the baby.. After that u/s, I'll start getting a u/s every other week to check on the baby.. I'm so excited..

I personally think the fish oil and prenatal vitamins you guys recommended to me have helped me with my diabetes and over all health.. I'm vary thankful you all were here to guide me in the right direction.. Thanks again!

As for my life, it's been pretty hectic.. I'm usually online for a few minutes at a time.. The good news is, our new house should be ready to close on Sept 25th.. I'm so excited.. I'm still in shock that our first house is brand new.. Makes everything we work for mean something.. It's a great feeling.. I'll make sure I post pictures of the finished house.

Thanks ladies for reading my update..

Melissa

Glad everything is going to well!! And you have only gained 1 lbs?? That is insane. I think I gained a pound just looking at my BFP I can only imagine how hard frequent appointments are when working full time. I'm have difficulty now just fitting in an extra visit for an u/s.

Thanks for the update and keep on taking such good care of youself

I'm glad to hear your pregnancy is going so well. Your pregnancy has flown by! Only one month left? Wow.

I bet you are excited to get in your new house before your little guy comes. Our first house was built brand new also. It was fun picking everything out and having it be brand new when moving in.

Thank your ladies for your kind comments..

I have some great news!! I saw my Endo today and she said I don't have to see her until 4 weeks from now.. She said just because I'm doing so great, there's no need for me to come in weekly.. Which is nice on my wallet, since it's $40 a visit!! Such great news.. I did however loose a pound.. So I'm back at my pre-pregnancy weight.. But keep in mind, I'm on a low carb diet and I eat every 2-3 hours.. I'm not to sure all the calories go, but I'm constantly moving to keep my sugars low.. I also only gained 5 lbs with my first pregnancy, so this time around I'm not to concerned..

Yes, it is a pain.. I'm just counting down the days until I can eat regular stuff again..

I do have a question for you.. Did you ever get low blood sugar readings when you had GD? I've been getting them lately.. Usually in the 60's and sometimes 50's.. It's usually 30 minutes after I test.. Now a days I can't run to many errands because I get the low blood sugar feeling. I usually forget to eat and sometimes I have to force myself to eat and I usually have to eat 2-3 fruit snacks packets to make me feel better.. I can also eat a donut and 2 hours later my blood sugar would be 70.. Strange huh?

Wow! No weight gain!

I can't believe you are due next month, where has the time gone?! Can't wait to meet your little guy. Do you have someone to text so we can get updates when you go into labor?

What kind of fish oil are you taking?
