Oliver's birthday party is on September 19th! We have about 9 family member coming from out of town. Damon's family is staying with us for the long weekend. My grandfather and his lady friend of 20 years are staying with my mom. I have 2 mommy friends and there family's coming too. In total it's about 21people including us and kids! I'm going to make homeade organic carrot cake cupcakes and maybe organic pumpkin cupcakes as well. I plan on buying a chocolate cake from Wholefoods as well. I'm still kind of up in the air about the other food. What I think we will have is bbq shredded chicken sandwiches, homeade mac & cheese, cornbread casserole, mostacolli, cucumber sandwiches, a taco bean dips, hummus & pita chips, and a veggie tray.

I'm making a cupcake stand. It's going to be brown and green. I think we are renting tables, chairs, and table clothes. I also will get ballons. I already posted pictures for the theme but it's owls. Oliver has a "Look Hoo's 1" birthday shirt with his name on the back and an owl crown to wear. The cupcakes will have owl toppers on them. I also have an owl Happy Birthday banner. I got all those things off of Esty. I'm so excited! We still have to go shopping for Oliver's birthday presents. I think we will get him some wooden cars, nesting blocks, shoes, and a puzzle.

Reid's party is this Sunday! We have about 24 people coming, including us. It will be our immediate families and a few close friends, including one of my JM mommy friends and her daughter (Tam and Summer!) Reid's theme is "Rock Star" - it will be at the park down the street from my house. We're going to BBQ chicken and then have other munchies. I am making his cake- it's going to be a guitar shaped cake on top of a large sheet cake. I am NOT a good baker or cake decorator, so we'll see how it turns out! Reid is wearing a light blue button down shirt with cute jean shorts and a pin that says "VIP". The goodie bags for the other kids are all rock star themed. We got Reid a big 2 seater wagon as his gift, and I'm picking up a few other things too. My sister is flying down from Seattle and my ILs are flying down from Idaho, so that means a lot to us! I'll post pics once its over

Bre, What did you put in the goody bags? I have two babies coming. I thinking about some baby snack food and some little toys. They are the same age as Oliver.

Adriana will be turning 2 years old on Sept 28th.. No big plans just yet.. I'm praying our house will be ready to close on Sept 25th, so we can have a small family party at our new house.. If it's not ready to close on that day, we'll probably have the party at my parents house..

Oh, I do plan on buying her a cute Castle cake for her birthday.. Other then that, I need to do more planning..

Awwww sounds like a couple cute parties. Tonight I told DH that we need to start thinking about Alexa's 1 year old party for next late March . Haha. But I want to secure a location and date. We'll most likely live out of state so we'll still come back for her party. And prob have at a VFW hall or some sort.
Can't wait to see pics of your parties
