We need an update from you and Ben. Are you still pumping? I know you planned on stopping at 1 year old. Did your milk decrease?

I'm OVER pumping!! But my next BF goal is 2 years old. I don't want to stop pumping 1-2 while at work and dry up because of it.

I am done pumping, and sadly we are done nursing! I was down to just one nursing per day and then a few nights ago he just cried and screamed and bit me - it happened like 3 days in a row so I decided he was done. I'm very sad about that, it's way sooner than I had planned on. I stopped pumping when he turned 1, and my milk supply adjusted - I still had plenty for him when he was nursing (which was 2x per day for a couple weeks, then down to just 1).

We are going through challenging times. He is crabby a lot lately (maybe teething?) and very, very clingy...especially at mealtimes which is difficult. But he's totally walking and getting into trouble at every turn and he rarely sits still. He's not talking at all yet, but he babbles A LOT and I think he's getting closer, he is getting better at communicating what he wants and he definitely understands words we're saying. (I can't say snack without him going nutso! )

Thanks for asking about us! I hear ya on the pumping thing, I couldn't be done soon enough with that!! It was literally a weight off my shoulders when I didn't have to lug my pump to work with me every day!

Aww, I'm sorry that he weaned a little sooner than you hoped for. I think you did an amazing job. I think it takes a lot of dedication to make it a full year while working.

They sure like to move a lot at this age, huh? Oliver is ALL over the place and loves to walk while holding our hands. He gets mad if we won't get up and walk with him. He will come up to us a pull on our hands until we get up with him. It's very cute.

Thanks for the update. You need to post around here more often.

I love your new siggy btw. It's very cute and creative.
