So a friend of me and dh is a doula and she gave my SIL and i prenatal class today for free! we are doing it again next sunday too. it was so informative, i learned a lot. my SIL is considering home birth now, which suprised me! this doula friend of ours has had both a hospital birth and home birth and talked openly about both and really let SIL form her own ideas about what type of birth she wanted. it was great! i already wanted a home birth, but it was great hearing about a friend's experience too. we talked a lot about comfort measures during labour, what all the stages of labour are like, and more.
oh and my friend had an 11 lb baby all natural at home in the water no tears! now THAT is inspirational!

my ttc date cannot come soon enough at this point!! lol all this baby talk!

That is so awesome!! My "baby guru" mom friend also had a home birth...she delivered her 10 lber in water with no tears as well. Makes me want a home birth even more!

omg you HAVE to be going crazy with all this baby stuff going on around you! I'm so happy you have a ttc date set! I bet your DH will get even more baby fever as SIL gets closer to having her baby.

yeah some days i take all the baby stuff in stride and to be honest other days it gets a bit depressing. come on ttc date!

That's so cool that you get free prenatal classes!

I watched a show last night where a lady had a home birth, all natural, and her baby weighed 10 lbs 4 oz! It was one of the calmest, most reassuring births ever!
