Yes - the first AF post-m/c were both screwed up.... long and heavy, painful, with days of spotting on both ends. Just one more gift from mother nature...

Mine was completely normal....but I think that was because my miscarriage itself was so long & drawn out, I didn't have much to "shed" for a period. I was fully prepared for it to be completely horrible but it wasn't nearly as bad as pre-miscarriage AF.

Not really. It was actually shorter and less heavy then normal. I think that was because I had a D&C, which pretty much empties out your uterus completely.

With a D&C you most likely will have lighter easier one. With a natural one you will most likely have to shed more and have a wacky one.

I'm no help. I didn't get AF after the initial bleeding from the m/c. I had to have a progesterone shot because my OB said I wasn't ovulating(I don't always, I can go months with out af) and when I finally got AF after that It was light and I ended up pregnant with Seamus.
